這百姓還沒有歸向擊打他們的主，也沒有尋求萬軍之耶和華。

耶戶說：「把她扔下來！」他們就把她扔下來。她的血濺在牆上和馬上；於是把她踐踏了。

耶戶吩咐說：「活捉他們！」跟從的人就活捉了他們，將他們殺在剪羊毛之處的坑邊，共四十二人，沒有留下一個。

他們並不誠心哀求我，乃在牀上呼號；他們為求五穀新酒聚集，仍然悖逆我。

信一到，他們就把王的七十個兒子殺了，將首級裝在筐裏，送到在耶斯列的耶戶那裏。

心利見城破失，就進了王宮的衛所，放火焚燒宮殿，自焚而死。

有管理他一半戰車的臣子心利背叛他。當他在得撒家宰亞雜家裏喝醉的時候，心利就進去殺了他，篡了他的位。這是猶大王亞撒二十七年的事。心利一坐王位就殺了巴沙的全家，連他的親屬、朋友也沒有留下一個男丁。

我在他們中間尋找一人重修牆垣，在我面前為這國站在破口防堵，使我不滅絕這國，卻找不着一個。

這一切災禍臨到我們身上是照摩西律法上所寫的，我們卻沒有求耶和華－我們神的恩典，使我們回頭離開罪孽，明白你的真理。

耶戶開滿了弓，射中約蘭的脊背，箭從心窩穿出，約蘭就仆倒在車上。

我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我面；他們在急難的時候必切切尋求我。

在猶大王亞撒第三年巴沙殺了他，篡了他的位。

但隨從暗利的民勝過隨從基納的兒子提比尼的民。提比尼死了，暗利就作了王。
