爾其在基比亞鳴笳、在拉瑪吹角、在伯亞文示警曰、便雅憫歟、其顧爾後、

在其庇亞、喇馬當吹角、在伯亞文號呼、當告便雅憫族敵將追襲。

“ Sound the trumpet in Gibeah, the horn in Ramah. Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven; lead on, Benjamin.

“ My people, blow trumpets in Gibeah! Blow horns in Ramah! Shout the battle cry in Bethel! Say to the people of Benjamin,‘ Lead on into battle!’

Blow the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah. Sound the alarm at Beth-aven; we follow you, O Benjamin!

“ Sound the alarm in Gibeah! Blow the trumpet in Ramah! Raise the battle cry in Beth aven! Lead on into battle, O warriors of Benjamin!

Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the war cry in Beth-aven: Look behind you, Benjamin!

Blow the horn in Gibeah, And the trumpet in Ramah. Sound an alarm at Beth aven:“ Behind you, Benjamin!”

Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: sound an alarm at Beth- aven; behind thee, O Benjamin.

Blow the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the war cry in Beth-aven: After you, Benjamin!

Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah! Sound the trumpet in Ramah! Sound the alarm in Beth Aven! Tremble in fear, O Benjamin!

“ Blow the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah! Sound a battle cry at Beth Aven, behind you, Benjamin!

They are deeply corrupted, As in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity; He will punish their sins.

“ Though you, Israel, play the harlot, Let not Judah offend. Do not come up to Gilgal, Nor go up to Beth Aven, Nor swear an oath, saying,‘ As the Lord lives’—

Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand:

Declare in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem, and say:“ Blow the trumpet in the land; Cry,‘ Gather together,’ And say,‘ Assemble yourselves, And let us go into the fortified cities.’

Then Samuel went to Ramah, and Saul went up to his house at Gibeah of Saul.

From Ephraim were those whose roots were in Amalek. After you, Benjamin, with your peoples, From Machir rulers came down, And from Zebulun those who bear the recruiter’s staff.

They have gone along the ridge, They have taken up lodging at Geba. Ramah is afraid, Gibeah of Saul has fled.

“ Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law.

let seven men of his descendants be delivered to us, and we will hang them before the Lord in Gibeah of Saul, whom the Lord chose.” And the king said,“ I will give them.”

Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Beth Aven, on the east side of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying,“ Go up and spy out the country.” So the men went up and spied out Ai.

The inhabitants of Samaria fear Because of the calf of Beth Aven. For its people mourn for it, And its priests shriek for it— Because its glory has departed from it.

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah,

But he always returned to Ramah, for his home was there. There he judged Israel, and there he built an altar to the Lord.

So the Levite, the husband of the woman who was murdered, answered and said,“ My concubine and I went into Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin, to spend the night.And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and surrounded the house at night because of me. They intended to kill me, but instead they ravished my concubine so that she died.So I took hold of my concubine, cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the territory of the inheritance of Israel, because they committed lewdness and outrage in Israel.

Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, Shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains,“ Cover us!” And to the hills,“ Fall on us!”“ O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah; There they stood. The battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity Did not overtake them.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly;

And he set up one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.

But his master said to him,“ We will not turn aside here into a city of foreigners, who are not of the children of Israel; we will go on to Gibeah.”So he said to his servant,“ Come, let us draw near to one of these places, and spend the night in Gibeah or in Ramah.”And they passed by and went their way; and the sun went down on them near Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin.They turned aside there to go in to lodge in Gibeah. And when he went in, he sat down in the open square of the city, for no one would take them into his house to spend the night.

“ O you children of Benjamin, Gather yourselves to flee from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, And set up a signal-fire in Beth Haccerem; For disaster appears out of the north, And great destruction.
