那时，百姓怎样，祭司也怎样；仆人怎样，主人也怎样；婢女怎样，主母也怎样；购买的怎样，贩卖的也怎样；借给人的怎样，向人借的也怎样；放债的怎样，借债的也怎样。

他喜爱诅咒人，诅咒就临到他；他不喜欢祝福人，祝福就远离他。他把诅咒当作衣袍穿上，所以诅咒像水那样进到他里面，像油那样进到他的骨头里。

所以耶和华必在一日之内，从以色列中剪除头和尾，剪除棕枝和芦苇——长老和尊贵人就是头，指教虚谎之事的先知就是尾。因为引导这百姓的使他们迷失，而被引导的都陷入混乱。

恶人被自己的罪孽捉住，被自己罪的绳索捆绑；

随他们吧！他们是给瞎子领路的瞎子。如果瞎子给瞎子领路，两个人都会掉进坑里。”

你们要告诉义人，他们会一切平顺，因为他们必吃自己行为所结的果实。
