They offer sacrifices on the mountaintops. They burn offerings on the hills. They worship under oak, poplar and terebinth trees. The trees provide plenty of shade. So your daughters become prostitutes. And your daughters- in- law commit adultery.

那等人必因所喜爱的圣树抱愧；你们必因所选择的园子蒙羞，

约西亚王在位的时候，耶和华对我说：“你看见背道的以色列所做的吗？她上到各高山，在各青翠的树下行淫。

被杀的要仆倒在祭坛四围的偶像中，在各高冈、各山顶、各青翠的树下，和各茂密的橡树下，就是他们献馨香的祭给一切偶像的地方。那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。

所以耶和华如此说：‘你的妻子要在城中作妓女，你的儿女要倒在刀下；你的地必有人用绳子量了瓜分，你自己必死在不洁净之地；以色列百姓必被掳，离开本地。’”

现在刀剑必永不离开你的家，因你藐视我，娶了赫人乌利亚的妻子为妻。’耶和华如此说：‘看哪，我必从你家中兴起灾祸攻击你；我必在你眼前把你的妃嫔赐给你身边的人，他要在光天化日下与你的妃嫔同寝。你在暗中做那事，我却要在以色列众人面前，在日光之下做这事。’”

将不能朽坏之神的荣耀变为偶像，仿照必朽坏的人、飞禽、走兽、爬虫的形像。所以，神任凭他们随着心里的情欲行污秽的事，以致彼此羞辱自己的身体。他们将神的真实变为虚谎，去敬拜事奉受造之物，不敬奉那造物的主—主是可称颂的，直到永远。阿们！因此，神任凭他们放纵可羞耻的情欲。他们的女人把自然的关系变成违反自然的；男人也是如此，放弃了和女人自然的关系，欲火攻心，男的和男的彼此贪恋，行可耻的事，就在自己身上受这逆性行为当得的报应。他们既然故意不认识神，神就任凭他们存扭曲的心，做那些不该做的事，

你们在橡树中间，在各青翠的树下欲火攻心；在山谷间，在岩隙下杀了儿女；

你拿你的衣服为自己做成彩色丘坛，在其上行淫。这样的事本不该有，以后也不该发生。

我领他们到我起誓应许赐给他们的地，他们看见各高冈、各茂密的树，就在那里献祭，献上惹我发怒的供物，也在那里焚烧馨香的祭，献浇酒祭。我就对他们说：你们去的那丘坛叫什么呢？它名叫巴麻，直到今日。

先知越是呼唤他们，他们越是远离，向诸巴力献祭，为雕刻的偶像烧香。

“我心若因妇人受迷惑，在邻舍的门外等候，就愿我妻子给别人推磨，别人与她同寝。

我要惩罚她素日给诸巴力烧香的罪；那时她佩戴耳环和珠宝，跟随她所爱的，却忘记我。这是耶和华说的。

你在高而又高的山上安设床铺，上那里去献祭。

只要承认你的罪孽，就是违背耶和华—你的神，在各青翠的树下追逐外族的神明，没有听从我的话。这是耶和华说的。

你在各个街头建造高台，使你的美貌变为可憎；又向所有过路的人招手，多行淫乱。

“你在古时折断你的轭，解开你的绳索，说：‘我必不事奉耶和华。’你在各高冈上、各青翠的树下屈身行淫。
