雖食不得飽、與婦交、不增人、因違棄主、不守法度、

你吃，却吃不饱，仍然腹中空空。你聚敛钱财，却保不住。你保住的，我要交给拿刀的。

我要断绝你们的粮源。那时候，十个妇女将用一个烤炉烤饼，按定量分饼给你们，你们吃却吃不饱。

你们种多收少，吃不饱，喝不足，穿不暖，挣来的工钱却放在漏口袋中。”

以法莲人的荣耀要如鸟飞逝，你们将不能受孕，不能怀胎，也不能生育。你们纵然把孩子养大，我也要夺去他们的性命，一个也不留。我撇弃你们的时候，你们就有祸了！我看见以法莲栽种在草原上，美如泰尔，但以法莲却要把孩子交给屠杀者。”耶和华啊，求你给他们——你要给他们什么呢？求你使他们子宫流产，乳房干瘪。耶和华说：“因他们在吉甲的一切恶行，我已憎恶他们。因他们的恶行，我要将他们逐出我的家，不再爱他们，他们的首领都是悖逆之人。以法莲要被击打，他们的根将枯干，再也不能结果。就算他们能生儿育女，我也要杀死他们心爱的孩子。”我的上帝必弃绝他们，因为他们不听从祂。他们必在列国中流离飘泊。

耶何耶大死后，犹大众首领来朝拜王，王对他们言听计从。

义人丰衣足食，恶人食不果腹。

他们满口恶言谎话，毫无智慧和善行。

但我不会因此而惩罚她们，因为你们也与娼妓苟合，与庙妓一起献祭。无知的民族必走向灭亡。

义人若弃善行恶，与恶人同流合污，这人岂能活着？他从前的义行不会被记念，他必因自己的背信和罪恶而灭亡。

耶和华必把那些偏行恶道的人与作恶的人一同赶走。愿平安临到以色列。

所以主耶和华说：“看啊，我的仆人必有吃有喝，你们却要饥渴交加；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却要受羞辱；我的仆人必欢喜快乐，扬声歌唱，你们却要伤心欲绝，嚎啕大哭。我的选民必用你们的名字作咒诅，主耶和华必杀死你们，给祂的仆人另起名字。因此，在地上求福祉的人都必向信实的上帝祈求，在地上起誓的人都必凭信实的上帝起誓。因为过去的苦难已经被遗忘，从我眼前消失了。

不久前，你们回心转意，做我视为正的事，释放自己的同胞，并且在我的殿中立了约。

祭司们啊，这诫命是传给你们的。万军之耶和华说：“如果你们不听从我的话，也不从内心尊崇我的名，我必使咒诅临到你们，把你们的福气变成咒诅。事实上，因为你们不把我的诫命放在心上，我已经咒诅了你们。我必斥责你们的子孙，把你们祭牲的粪便抹在你们脸上，又把你们和粪便一同丢掉，

铲除离弃我、不寻求我、不求问我的人。”

如果他们借着认识我们的主和救主耶稣基督，已经摆脱了世俗的污秽，但后来又被这些事缠住、俘虏了，他们的处境会比以前更糟糕。他们明知道正路，却背弃了传给他们的神圣诫命，这样倒不如不知道的好。俗语说得好：“狗转过身来，吃自己所吐的；猪洗干净了，又回到污泥里去打滚。”这些话正好用在他们身上。
