Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax[ given] to cover her nakedness.

因此到了收割的日子，出酒的时候，我必将我的五谷、新酒收回，也必将她应当遮体的羊毛和麻夺回来。

故此酒穀膏油必奪之、不供其用、棉枲之衣必取之、不容蔽體、

故臨時我必取我穀、屆期我必取我酒、亦取我之羊毛與麻、即所賜彼以蔽裸體者、

“ Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and my new wine when it is ready. I will take back my wool and my linen, intended to cover her naked body.

“ So I will take away my grain when it gets ripe. I’ll take my fresh wine when it’s ready. I’ll take back my wool and my linen. I gave them to her to cover her naked body.

Therefore I will take back my grain in its time, and my wine in its season, and I will take away my wool and my flax, which were to cover her nakedness.

“ But now I will take back the ripened grain and new wine I generously provided each harvest season. I will take away the wool and linen clothing I gave her to cover her nakedness.

Therefore, I will take back my grain in its time and my new wine in its season; I will take away my wool and linen, which were to cover her nakedness.

Therefore, I will take back My grain at harvest time And My new wine in its season. I will also take away My wool and My flax That I gave to cover her nakedness.

“ Therefore I will return and take away My grain in its time And My new wine in its season, And will take back My wool and My linen, Given to cover her nakedness.

Therefore will I take back my grain in the time thereof, and my new wine in the season thereof, and will pluck away my wool and my flax which should have covered her nakedness.

Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.

For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of[ their] tinkling ornaments[ about their feet], and[ their] cauls, and[ their] round tires like the moon,The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,The rings, and nose jewels,The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.And it shall come to pass,[ that] instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth;[ and] burning instead of beauty.Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she[ being] desolate shall sit upon the ground.

And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.

The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.

Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary[ food], and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.

Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages[ to put it] into a bag with holes.Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.Ye looked for much, and, lo,[ it came] to little; and when ye brought[ it] home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that[ is] waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed[ from] her fruit.And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon[ that] which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit[ them]; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.

Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish:[ but] the harvest[ shall be] a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

Who knoweth[ if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him;[ even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

Since those[ days] were, when[ one] came to an heap of twenty[ measures], there were[ but] ten: when[ one] came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty[ vessels] out of the press, there were[ but] twenty.I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye[ turned] not to me, saith the LORD.

Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
