I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.

I will make Israel my own. She will belong to me forever. I will do to her what is right and fair. I will love her tenderly.

And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy.

I will make you my wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion.

I will take you to be my wife forever. I will take you to be my wife in righteousness, justice, love, and compassion.

I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In favor and in compassion,

“ I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;

And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

I will take you to be My wife forever. I will take you to be My wife in righteousness, justice, love, and compassion.

I will commit myself to you forever; I will commit myself to you in righteousness and justice, in steadfast love and tender compassion.

I will betroth you to me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in loving kindness, and in compassion.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present[ you as] a chaste virgin to Christ.

In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.For this[ is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for[ as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein,[ even] they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David[ shall be] their prince for ever.Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed[ each other].

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed[ are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.For[ as] a young man marrieth a virgin,[ so] shall thy sons marry thee: and[ as] the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride,[ so] shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another,[ even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

For thy Maker[ is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts[ is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Whom God hath set forth[ to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;To declare,[ I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so[ let] the wives[ be] to their own husbands in every thing.Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth[ in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.Surely, shall[ one] say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength:[ even] to him shall[ men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day[ that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:But this[ shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day,[ and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts[ is] his name:If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD,[ then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
