In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.

At that time I will make a covenant for the good of my people. I will make it with the wild animals and the birds in the sky. It will also be made with the creatures that move along the ground. I will remove bows and swords and other weapons of war from the land. Then my people can lie down in safety.

And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.

“‘我必與牠們立平安的約，使惡獸從境內滅絕，牠們就可以在曠野安居，在樹林中躺臥。

“‘那時，以色列各城的居民必出來，把武器當柴焚燒，就是大小的盾牌、弓、箭、槍和矛，都當柴焚燒，足有七年的時間。他們不必從田野撿柴，也不必從樹林裡伐木，因為他們必把武器當柴燒；他們必搶劫那些曾搶劫他們的人，掠奪那些掠奪他們的人。這是主耶和華的宣告。

在他執政的日子，猶大必得救，以色列也必安然居住。人要稱他的名字為‘耶和華我們的義’。”

豺狼必與綿羊羔同住，豹子要與山羊羔同臥，牛犢、幼獅和肥畜必同群；小孩子要牽引牠們。牛必與母熊一同吃食，牛犢必與小熊一起躺臥；獅子就像牛一般吃草。吃奶的嬰兒必在虺蛇的洞口玩耍，斷奶的孩子必放他的手在毒蛇的穴上。在我整個聖山上面，這一切都不行傷害或毀滅之事；因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿大地，好像海水覆蓋海洋一般。

他要在列國施行審判，為多國的人斷定是非。他們必把刀打成犁頭，把矛槍打成鐮刀。這國不舉刀攻擊那國，他們也不再學習戰爭。

你必與田間的石頭立約，田間的野獸必與你和平相處。

豺狼必與羊羔在一起吃東西，獅子要像牛一樣吃草，蛇必以塵土為食物。在我聖山的各處，牠們都必不作惡，也不害物；這是耶和華說的。”

他使戰爭止息，直到地極；他把弓折毀，把矛砍斷，把戰車用火焚燒。

到那日，眼目高傲的人必降卑，性情驕傲的人也必俯首，唯獨耶和華被高舉。

“他要在多族中施行審判，為遠方的強國斷定是非。他們必把刀劍打成犁頭，把矛槍打成鐮刀；這國不舉刀攻擊那國，他們也不再學習戰事。各人都要坐在自己的葡萄樹，和無花果樹下，無人驚嚇他們，因為萬軍之耶和華親口說過了。

耶和華必作全地的王；到那日，人人都承認耶和華是獨一無二的，他的名也是獨一無二的。

住在至高者的隱密處的，必在全能者的蔭庇下安居。我要對耶和華說：“你是我的避難所，我的保障，你是我的神，我所倚靠的。”他必救你脫離捕鳥的人的網羅，脫離致命的瘟疫。他必用自己的羽毛遮蓋你，你要投靠在他的翅膀底下；他的信實像盾牌，像堅壘。你不必害怕黑夜的驚恐，或是白日的飛箭；也不必害怕黑暗中流行的瘟疫，或是在正午把人毀滅的毒病。雖有千人仆倒在你的左邊，萬人仆倒在你的右邊，但災害必不臨近你。不過你要親眼觀看，看見惡人遭報。你既然把耶和華當作自己的避難所，把至高者當作自己的居所，禍患必不臨到你，災害必不臨近你的帳棚。因為他為了你，會吩咐自己的使者，在你所行的一切路上保護你。他們必用手托住你，免得你的腳碰到石頭。你必踐踏獅子和虺蛇。你必踏碎少壯獅子和大蛇。

人的高傲必變為謙虛，人的狂妄都必降為卑微，在那日，唯獨耶和華被高舉。

我必從以法蓮除掉戰車，從耶路撒冷除掉戰馬。爭戰的弓必被除掉，他要向列國宣講和平。他的統治權必從這海延伸到那海，從幼發拉底河直到地極。

到那日，許多國家要歸附耶和華，作他的（“他的”原文作“我的”）子民，他要（“他要”原文作“我要”）住在你們中間。你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我到你們那裡去。

到那日（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告），你們各人要邀請自己的鄰舍來，坐在葡萄樹下和無花果樹下。’”

你們打禾，必打到摘葡萄的時候，摘葡萄必摘到撒種的時候；你們吃食物，吃得飽足，在你們的境內安然居住。我必使你們境內太平；你們睡覺，沒有人驚嚇你們；我使惡獸在境內絕跡；刀劍也不經過你們的地。

到那日，在猶大地必有人唱這歌：“我們有座堅固的城；耶和華把救恩作為城牆和外郭。

在那些日子，猶大必得救，耶路撒冷必安然居住；這城必被稱為‘耶和華是我們的公義’。

到那日，他的腳必站在對著耶路撒冷，在東面的橄欖山上；這橄欖山必從中間裂開，由東至西成為極大的山谷。山的一半向北挪移，一半向南挪移。

所以，我的僕人雅各啊！你不要懼怕。’這是耶和華的宣告。‘以色列啊！你不要驚慌。因為我必拯救你從遠方回來，必拯救你的後裔脫離他們被擄之地。雅各必歸回，得享平靜安逸，沒有人可以使他害怕。

他使我躺臥在青草地上，領我到安靜的水邊。
