今干罪愈甚、以銀鑄像、循其聰明造偶、悉為工匠所製、指之而言曰、任獻祭者與犢接吻、

今為惡益甚、匠人以巧捷之技、鎔銀鑄像、祭司命眾、敬彼犢像、接吻以為禮、

And now they sin more and more, and make for themselves metal images, idols skillfully made of their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. It is said of them,“ Those who offer human sacrifice kiss calves!”

Now they continue to sin by making silver idols, images shaped skillfully with human hands.“ Sacrifice to these,” they cry,“ and kiss the calf idols!”

Now they continue to sin and make themselves a cast image, idols skillfully made from their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. People say about them,“ Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves.”

Now they continue to sin and make themselves a cast image, idols skillfully made from their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. People say about them,“ Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves.”

And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver,[ and] idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

Even now they persist in sin! They make metal images for themselves, idols that they skillfully fashion from their own silver; all of them are nothing but the work of craftsmen! There is a saying about them:“ Those who sacrifice to the calf idol are calf kissers!”

Now they sin more and more, and have made themselves molten images of their silver, even idols according to their own understanding, all of them the work of the craftsmen. They say of them,‘ They offer human sacrifice and kiss the calves.’

有些人从囊中取金子，又用天平称银子，雇银匠制造神像，然后向它俯伏叩拜。

此外，我在以色列留下七千人，他们未曾跪拜巴力，也未曾亲吻巴力。”

以金银作装饰，用钉子和锤子钉牢，以免晃动。

他用另一半木头造了一个神，一个偶像，向它俯伏叩拜、祷告说：“你是我的神明，求你拯救我。”他们愚昧无知，因为眼睛被封住以致看不见，心窍被塞住以致不明白。他们无人思想，无人明白，无人醒悟说：“我用一半木头当柴烤饼、烤肉吃，我岂能用另一半木头造可憎的神像？我岂能向一块木头叩拜？”他们以灰为食，心智迷糊，走入歧途，不能自救，也不会说：“我右手拿的神像不是假的吗？”

她不知道是我给她五谷、新酒和油，又赐给她大量金银——她却用这些供奉巴力。

“雕刻的偶像有什么益处？骗人的铸像有什么用处？制造者竟信靠自己造的哑巴偶像！对木头说‘醒醒吧’，对哑巴石头说‘起来吧’的人啊，你们有祸了！它们能教导你们吗？看啊，它们外面包金裹银，里面却毫无生命。

上帝怎样回答呢？祂说：“我为自己留下七千人，他们未曾跪拜巴力。”

他们自以为聪明，其实愚不可及，以必朽的人、飞禽、走兽和爬虫的形象来取代永恒上帝的荣耀。因此，上帝任凭他们随从内心的情欲行污秽的事，玷污彼此的身体。他们把上帝的真理当作谎言，祭拜、供奉受造之物，却不敬拜、事奉造物主。主是永远值得称颂的。阿们！

刀剑之灾要临到他们的城邑，毁坏他们的城门，将他们吞噬，因为他们倚仗自己的计谋。

撒母耳把一瓶膏油倒在扫罗的头上，亲吻他，说：“耶和华已经膏立你做祂子民的首领。

而恶人和骗子会变本加厉地迷惑人，也被人迷惑。

要降服在祂儿子面前，免得祂发怒，你们便在罪恶中灭亡，因为祂的怒气将临。投靠祂的人有福了！

他们都愚昧无知，毫无用处的木制偶像能教导他们什么呢？

耶和华说：“我悖逆的儿女有祸了！他们不遵行我的旨意，按自己的计划行事；未经我同意，擅自与人结盟，不断犯罪。

这牛犊是以色列的工匠造的，并不是神，必被砸得粉碎。

“你们这些悖逆的人啊，要将这些事铭记在心。

以色列是茂盛的葡萄树，硕果累累。可是，他结果越多，建造的祭坛就越多；土地出产越丰富，他就把神柱装饰得越美丽。

有耳不能听，口中毫无气息。那些制造它们、信靠它们的人也会和它们一样。

“现在，你们这群罪人的后代竟然重蹈前人的覆辙，加剧耶和华的怒气。

你们为什么一再叛逆？你们还要受责打吗？你们已经头破血流，身心疲惫。

可是，亚们没有像他父亲玛拿西一样在耶和华面前谦卑下来。相反，他犯的罪日益增加。

你这样硬着心不肯悔改等于是为自己积蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公义审判的那天必临到你。

“列国的流亡者啊，你们要聚集到这里来。那些抬着木头神像、向不能救人的神明祷告的人真愚昧！

他们的神像不过是人用金银造的。它们有口不能言，有眼不能看，有耳不能听，有鼻不能闻，有手不能摸，有脚不能走，有喉咙也不能发声。那些制造它们、信靠它们的人也会和它们一样。

说：“你们不可把这些俘虏带进来，我们的罪已经够重了，耶和华的烈怒已经临到以色列人，不要再得罪耶和华，加重我们的罪恶了。”

他们拥立君王，未经我的同意；选立首领，没有让我知道。他们用金银为自己制造神像，自取灭亡。
