自稱富有、以為所得之貨財、由於勤勞、未嘗蹈於罪戾、

以法莲说：‘我果然成了富足，得了财宝；我所劳碌得来的，人必不见有什么不义，可算为罪的。’

以法莲说：我果然富有，得了财宝；我所劳碌得来的一切，人必找不到我有什么可算为有罪的恶。

以法莲说：“我发财了，我依靠自己致富。没有人能从我的劳碌中找出过错和罪恶。”

以法莲说：“我成了富翁，我为自己发了财；在我所有的收益中，人不能找出我有什么罪孽，可算为罪恶的。”

以法蓮說：我果然成了富足，得了財寶；我所勞碌得來的，人必不見有甚麼不義，可算為罪的。

以法蓮為自己辯護說：『啊，我居然成了巨富了，我為自己得了貨財了』；但他獲得的利必不足以抵銷他所犯的罪。

以法蓮自謂、我誠富有、已得貨財、凡我勞而獲者、人不得見我有不義、可視為罪、

Ephraim boasts,“ I am very rich; I have become wealthy. With all my wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or sin.”

People of Ephraim, you brag,“ We are very rich. We’ve become wealthy. And no one can prove we sinned to gain all this wealth.”

Ephraim has said,“ Ah, but I am rich; I have found wealth for myself; in all my labors they cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”

Israel boasts,“ I am rich! I’ve made a fortune all by myself! No one has caught me cheating! My record is spotless!”

But Ephraim thinks,“ How rich I have become; I made it all myself. In all my earnings, no one can find any iniquity in me that I can be punished for!”

And Ephraim said,“ I have certainly become rich, I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors they will find in me No wrongdoing, which would be sin.”

And Ephraim said,‘ Surely I have become rich, I have found wealth for myself; In all my labors They shall find in me no iniquity that is sin.’

And Ephraim said, Surely I am become rich, I have found me wealth: in all my labors they shall find in me no iniquity that were sin.

But Ephraim says:“ How rich I have become; I made it all myself. In all my earnings, no one can find any crime in me that I can be punished for!”

And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance:[ in] all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that[ were] sin.

Ephraim boasts,“ I am very rich! I have become wealthy! In all that I have done to gain my wealth, no one can accuse me of any offense that is actually sinful.”

Ephraim said,“ Surely I have become rich, I have found myself wealth. In all my wealth they won’t find in me any iniquity that is sin.”

爾自稱富有、無所匱缺、不知爾實困苦貧乏、瞽目裸身、

爾即財貨豐饒、勿以為樂、況虐人奪人、更不可以此浮財自恃、

淫婦之行亦然、任私欲、滅其跡、曰、我未行淫。

彼恃貨財、誇豐富兮、

有人自以為潔、而實未滌其污、

恐爾意謂由己力己能、獲此貨財。

斯羊之主、殺之而以為無辜、鬻之而以為得財、頌美耶和華、牧者不懷矜憫。

爾自為無罪、冀予弗怒、爾不任過、我必鞫爾。

其人壞心術、滅真理、惟尚虛談、謂敬虔足以邀利、如此者、爾當遠之、

曰、彼其之子、輕上帝之能力、恃一己之貨財、強悍作惡兮、

我不以金為寶、亦不以兼金為可恃。雖財貨豐饒、弗以為樂。

一僕不能事二主、或惡此愛彼、或重此輕彼、爾不能事上帝、又事貨財也、○

乃自謂曰、我有多物、積為歷年之用、此心可安然飲食喜樂也、

耶和華曰、爾出言不遜、違逆乎我、爾曰、予以何詞悖爾哉、

爾豈得曰、不染污衊、未從巴力乎。爾於谷中所行、爾自知之、如牝駱駝、相誘以風、馳逐遠去。

獻祭焚香、以敬其網、因所得者多、食之果腹、

維彼敵人、沉湎於酒者、廉恥道喪、居心粗浮者、遨遊遠方、貪欲無藝、若陰司暗府、無日充盈焉、彼使邦國、咸歸統轄、斯眾必作歌以譏刺、曰、他人之財、充積爾家、質當之物、盡歸爾身、久而不償、禍必不遠、

當諭此世之富者、心勿傲、無定之財勿恃、惟賴永生上帝、洪賜我眾、百物以享之、

彼曰、我有智有能、克勝鄰邦、虜其財、得其地、惟自恃其能而為之。我擊天下、得人貨財、如覆巢取卵、雌鳥遠飛、無有哀鳴而鼓翼者。

耶穌曰、爾在人前以義自稱、爾之心、上帝知之、蓋人所崇者、上帝所惡也、

爾以多言煩瀆耶和華、爾曰、如何煩瀆之、曰、爾言作惡者、耶和華必以為善、而悅納之、又言秉公之上帝安在。

彼欲自稱為義、謂耶穌曰、誰為我鄰、
