so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

如是基督一獻己以負眾罪、將以無罪復顯於望之者、以致拯救、

如是、基督自獻為眾受刑、祗一獻耳、厥後顯著、不復受刑、欲救所望之者、

如是基督一次獻己、以負負或作贖眾人之罪、後必以無罪再顯著於望之者、使之得救、後必以無罪再顯著於望之者使之得救或作後必再顯著使望之者得救不復有罪當贖

故基督既一度為除眾人之罪而捨生、亦將為其信徒重臨於世、非再贖罪、乃為之超渡也。

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

In the same way, Christ was offered up once. He took away the sins of many people. He will also come a second time. At that time he will not suffer for sin. Instead, he will come to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all time; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

and He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed.

And it will be said on that day,“ Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

And not only that, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, the redemption of our body.

and they said,“ Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;who will transform the body of our lowly condition into conformity with His glorious body, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is, Jesus who rescues us from the wrath to come.

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all time, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, For He will bear their wrongdoings.Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the plunder with the strong, Because He poured out His life unto death, And was counted with wrongdoers; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the wrongdoers.

You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

But when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written:“ Death has been swallowed up in victory.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be.

Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.

This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angelsin flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God, and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.These people will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,when He comes to be glorified among His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed— because our testimony to you was believed.

And you will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

However, it was our sicknesses that He Himself bore, And our pains that He carried; Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, Struck down by God, and humiliated.But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed.All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wrongdoing of us all To fall on Him.

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

Only the Levites shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their own guilt; it shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations, and among the sons of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

“ Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place? For it is most holy, and He gave it to you to take away the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep.For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Holy Place year by year with blood that is not his own.

So the Lord said to Aaron,“ You, your sons, and your father’s household with you shall bear the guilt in connection with the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the guilt in connection with your priesthood.
