且其所以為新約之仲介者、亦欲以一己之死、贖人於舊約下所犯之眾罪、而令蒙召者得承受所許之永遠基業耳。

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance— now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

但蒙上帝的恩典，靠著基督耶穌的救贖，世人被無條件地稱為義人。上帝使基督耶穌成為贖罪祭，以便人藉著相信耶穌的寶血可以得到赦免。這是為了顯明上帝的義，因為祂用忍耐的心寬容人過去的罪，好在現今顯明祂的義，使人知道祂是公義的，祂也稱信耶穌的為義人。

祂只進入至聖所一次便完成了永遠的救贖，用的不是山羊和牛犢的血，而是自己的血。

你們需要堅忍到底，這樣你們遵行了上帝的旨意後，便可以得到祂的應許。

上帝只有一位，在上帝和人類之間只有一位中保，就是降世為人的基督耶穌。

還有新約的中保耶穌和祂所流的血。這血比亞伯的血發出更美的信息。

這誓言使耶穌成了更美之約的保證人。

當我們還軟弱無助的時候，基督就在所定的日期為罪人死了。

因此，同蒙天召的聖潔的弟兄姊妹，你們應當仔細思想那位我們公認為特使和大祭司的耶穌。

這些人都因信心而獲得讚許，但他們並未得到上帝的應許，因為上帝為我們預備了更美的，要叫他們與我們一同得到才算完美。

因為眾兒女都是血肉之軀，所以祂也同樣取了血肉之軀，為要親身經歷死亡，藉此摧毀掌握死亡權勢的魔鬼，

同樣，基督為了承擔世人的罪，也曾一次獻上自己。祂還要再來，不是來除罪，而是來拯救那些熱切等候祂的人。

當初，上帝向亞伯拉罕許下諾言的時候，因為沒有比自己更大的可以憑著起誓，就憑自己起誓說：

他們唱著一首新歌：「你配拿書卷並揭開封印，因你曾被殺，用你的血從各部落、各語言族群、各民族、各國家，將人買贖回來歸給上帝。

因為基督也曾一次為罪受苦，以無罪之身代替不義之人，為要領你們到上帝面前。祂的肉體雖被處死，但祂藉著聖靈復活了。

願賜平安的上帝，就是那位憑著立永恆之約的血使群羊的大牧人——我主耶穌從死裡復活的上帝，

這樣，我們既然靠著祂的恩典而被稱為義人，就可以成為後嗣，有永生的盼望。

你們忍受短暫的苦難之後，廣施恩典、在基督裡呼召你們享受祂永遠榮耀的上帝必親自復興你們，使你們剛強、篤定、堅立。

有永生的盼望。這永生是從不說謊的上帝在亙古以前應許的。

上帝既然說要立新約，就是把以前的約當作舊的了，那漸漸過時、陳舊的東西很快就會消失。舊約有敬拜的禮儀和地上的聖幕。

無論誰為我的名而撇下房屋、弟兄、姊妹、父母、兒女或田地，都要得到百倍的賞賜，而且承受永生。

在試煉中能夠忍耐到底的人有福了，因為他若經得起考驗，就會得到主應許賜給愛祂之人的生命冠冕。

我為了上帝所揀選的人忍受一切痛苦，使他們可以獲得在基督耶穌裡的救恩和永遠的榮耀。

但如今，基督得到了一個更超越的職任，正如祂擔任了更美之約的中保，這約是根據更美的應許所立的。因為如果第一個約沒有缺點，就不必另立新約了。然而，上帝指責祂的百姓，說：「看啊，時候將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新約，

上帝藉著我們所傳的福音呼召了你們，使你們可以得到我們主耶穌基督的榮耀。

他們在寶座前，在四個活物和二十四位長老面前唱一首新歌。除了從地上被贖出來的十四萬四千人以外，沒有人能學得會這歌。這些人從未沾染過婦女，都是童身。無論羔羊往哪裡去，他們都緊隨其後。他們是從世人中被贖出來的，作為初熟的果實獻給上帝和羔羊。

因為罪的代價就是死亡，而上帝藉著主基督耶穌賜下的禮物則是永生。

這些人到死都滿懷信心。他們雖然沒有得到上帝所應許的，卻從遠處望見了，就歡喜快樂，承認自己在世上不過是寄居的異鄉人。

主應許給我們的是永生。

我要賜他們永生，他們永不滅亡。沒有人能從我的手裡把他們搶走。

願頌讚歸於我們主耶穌基督的父上帝！祂有無窮的憐憫，藉著耶穌基督從死裡復活使我們獲得重生，有活潑的盼望，可以承受那不會朽壞、沒有污點、不會衰殘、為你們存留在天上的產業。

如果我們還與上帝爲敵的時候，尚且可以藉著上帝兒子的死亡與上帝和好，和好後的我們豈不更要藉著祂兒子的生命得到拯救嗎？

六十二個七之後，受膏者必被殺害，一無所有。另有一王要興起，他的臣民要毀滅這城和聖所。結局必如洪水沖來，戰爭將持續到末了，到處一片荒涼——這已經註定。

我赤身露體時，你們給我穿的；我生病時，你們照顧我；我坐牢時，你們來看我。』

一位官長問耶穌：「良善的老師，我該做什麼才能承受永生？」

那時，王會對右邊的人說，『我父所賜福的人啊，來承受創世以來為你們預備的國度吧。

耶穌正要上路，有一個人跑來跪在祂跟前，問祂：「良善的老師，我該做什麼才能承受永生？」

祂使我們能夠擔任新約的執事。這新約不是用律法條文立的，而是聖靈的工作，因為律法條文帶給人死亡，但聖靈賜給人生命。

那些蒙憐憫的器皿就是我們這些從猶太人和外族人中被上帝呼召的人。

耶和華天天看顧純全無過的人，他們的產業永遠長存。

我們藉著祂愛子的血蒙救贖，過犯得到赦免，這都是出於祂的洪恩。

但基督卻在我們還做罪人的時候為我們死！上帝的愛就這樣顯明了。

然而，祂被壓傷、受痛苦是耶和華的旨意；祂的性命作了贖罪祭，祂必看見自己的後裔，祂必長久活著。耶和華的旨意必在祂手中實現。祂必看見自己勞苦的成果，並心滿意足。耶和華說：「我公義的僕人必憑祂的知識使許多人被算為義人，祂要擔當他們的罪惡。我要使祂與偉人同享尊榮，跟強者同分戰利品，因為祂奉獻了自己的生命。祂被列在罪犯中，卻擔當了許多人的罪，又為罪人代求。」

凡是遺囑，必須等到立遺囑的人死了以後才能生效。
