何況基督感於永在之神、以己無瑕之身、獻於天主、其血豈更不淨爾心去妄行、使爾奉事永生之天主乎、

矧以基督無玷之身、憑聖神而自獻於天主之寶血、不更應滌吾人之良心於一切致死之行、俾得昭事永生之天主乎？

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

But Christ offered himself to God without any flaw. He did this through the power of the eternal Holy Spirit. So how much cleaner will the blood of Christ make us! It washes away our feelings of guilt for committing sin. Sin always leads to death. But now we can serve the living God.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,

nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption.

but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ,

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.

who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood—

Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let’s press on to perfection— not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,

Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet- smelling fragrance.

But Yahweh is the true God. He is the living God, and an everlasting King. At his wrath, the earth trembles. The nations aren’t able to withstand his indignation.

But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.

to grant to us that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, should serve him without fear,

Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?

For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God.

Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.

even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—

What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said,“ I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”

“ I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel;“ for he is the living God, and steadfast forever. His kingdom is that which will not be destroyed. His dominion will be even to the end.

But you shall not offer whatever has a defect, for it shall not be acceptable for you.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.

For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

who didn’t sin,“ neither was deceit found in his mouth.”

“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,

but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in God’s house, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said,‘ Destroy!’

“‘ In the beginnings of your months, you shall offer a burnt offering to Yahweh: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without defect,

This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,

By faith, Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.

If it has any defect— is lame or blind, or has any defect whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to Yahweh your God.

But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?

even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself, and for the errors of the people.

Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!

For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.“ Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty- two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.After the sixty- two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house on his bed, should I not now require his blood from your hand, and rid the earth of you?”

until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.

But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then God’s Kingdom has come upon you.

“ This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded. Tell the children of Israel to bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no defect, and which was never yoked.You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face.Eleazar the priest shall take some of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her meat, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn.The priest shall take cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the middle of the burning of the heifer.Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.“ A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for use in water for cleansing impurity. It is a sin offering.He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. It shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.“ He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.He shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean; but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles Yahweh’s tabernacle; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is yet on him.“ This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.“ Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.“ For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.A clean person shall take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.The clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. On the seventh day, he shall purify him. He shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.It shall be a perpetual statute to them. He who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

You shall not sacrifice to Yahweh your God an ox or a sheep in which is a defect or anything evil; for that is an abomination to Yahweh your God.

For they themselves report concerning us what kind of a reception we had from you, and how you turned to God from idols, to serve a living and true God,

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

Incline your ear, Yahweh, and hear. Open your eyes, Yahweh, and see. Hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to defy the living God.

David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying,“ What shall be done to the man who kills this Philistine, and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you today, you have been rebellious against Yahweh. How much more after my death?

For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as we have, and lived?

“ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

“‘ On the Sabbath day, you shall offer two male lambs a year old without defect, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering mixed with oil, and its drink offering:

They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

You shall tell them,‘ This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to Yahweh: male lambs a year old without defect, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering.

how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks iniquity like water!

The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,

who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
