Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.

After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.Mine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.

Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. But that which is becoming old and waxeth aged is nigh unto vanishing away.
