But God found fault with the people and said:“ The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

But God found fault with the people. He said,“ The days are coming, announces the Lord. I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel. I will also make it with the people of Judah.

But showing its fault, God says to them,“ Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

For finding fault with them, he said,“ Behold, the days come”, says the Lord,“ that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;

“ The days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.“ This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord.“ I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another,‘ Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord.“ For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant— not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.

“ This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”Then he adds:“ Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, both those who are older than you and those who are younger. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on the basis of my covenant with you.

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying,“ This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance— now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying,“ This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Then he said to his disciples,“ The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

“ This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them.

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever.

“ Have you not noticed that these people are saying,‘ The Lord has rejected the two kingdoms he chose’? For I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.’”

“ The days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals.

“ The days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

The days are coming,’ declares the Lord,‘ when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”

“ So then, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when people will no longer say,‘ As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’

Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

“ The days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when this city will be rebuilt for me from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.
