這樣一位聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，對我們是最合適的；他不像那些大祭司，每日必須先為自己的罪，後為百姓的罪獻祭，因為他只一次將自己獻上就把這事成全了。律法所立的大祭司本是有弱點的人，但在律法以後，神以起誓的話立了兒子為大祭司，成為完全，直到永遠。

仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在神寶座的右邊。

但基督獻了一次永遠有效的贖罪祭，就坐在神的右邊，

他因你的救恩大有榮耀，你將尊榮威嚴加在他身上。

耶和華啊，尊大、能力、榮耀、勝利、威嚴都是你的；天上地下的一切都是你的；耶和華啊，國度是你的，並且你為至高，為萬有之首。

勇士啊，願你腰間佩刀，大展榮耀和威嚴，為真理、謙卑、公義威嚴地駕車前進，無不得勝；願你的右手顯明可畏的事。

他們要高聲歡呼，從海那邊揚聲讚美耶和華的威嚴。

好讓世人知道你大能的作為和你國度威嚴的榮耀。

我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華！耶和華－我的神啊，你為至大！你以尊榮威嚴為衣，

耶和華對我主說：「你坐在我的右邊，等我使你仇敵作你的腳凳。」

我為這福音的奧祕作了帶鐵鏈的使者，讓我能照着當盡的本分放膽宣講。

他必倚靠耶和華的大能，倚靠耶和華－他神之名的威嚴，站立並牧養，使他們安然居住；因為現在他必尊大，直到地極。

金色的光輝來自北方，在神那裏有可畏的威嚴。

神曾對哪一個天使說：「你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳」？
