所以，你們既然與基督一同復活，就應當尋求天上的事，那裡有基督坐在神的右邊。

得勝的，我必定賜他和我一同坐在我的寶座上，正像我得了勝和我父一同坐在他的寶座上一樣。

所以，他必須在各方面和他的弟兄們相同，為了要在神的事上，成為仁慈忠信的大祭司，好為人民贖罪。

這樣的一位大祭司，對我們本是合適的。他是聖潔、沒有邪惡、沒有玷污、從罪人中分別出來、高過眾天的。他不必像那些大祭司，天天先為自己的罪獻祭，然後為人民的罪獻祭；因為他獻上了自己，就把這事一次而永遠的成全了。律法所立的大祭司，都是軟弱的人；可是在律法以後，用誓言所立的兒子，卻是成為完全直到永遠的。

專一注視耶穌，就是那位信心的創造者和完成者。他因為那擺在面前的喜樂，就忍受了十字架，輕看了羞辱，現在就坐在神寶座的右邊。

唯有基督獻上了一次永遠有效的贖罪祭，就在神的右邊坐下來。

他因你的救恩大有榮耀，你又把尊榮和威嚴加給他。

耶和華啊，尊大、能力、榮耀、勝利和威嚴，都是你的；因為天上地下的萬有都是你的；耶和華啊，國度是你的，你是至高的，是萬有之首。

大能者啊！願你腰間佩上刀，彰顯你的尊榮和威嚴。在你的威嚴中，為了真理、謙卑和公義的緣故，你勝利地乘車前進；願你的右手施行可畏的事。

剩餘的人必高聲歡呼，在西邊的，要宣揚耶和華的威嚴。

好使世人知道你大能的作為，和你國威嚴的尊榮。

我的心哪！你要稱頌耶和華；耶和華我的神啊！你真偉大；你以尊榮和威嚴為衣服。

耶和華對我主說：“你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳。”（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）

（我為這奧祕作了被捆鎖的使者），也使我按著應當說的，放膽宣講這福音的奧祕。

他必站立起來，靠著耶和華的能力，靠著耶和華他神之名的威嚴，牧養他的羊群；他們必然安居，因為那時他必尊大，直到地極。

金光來自北方，在神的周圍有可怕的威嚴。

神可曾向哪一個天使說：“你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳”呢？
