照樣，基督為了擔當眾人的罪孽，也被獻上一次；將來還要再一次顯現，不是為了罪，而是為了使那些熱切等待他的人得到救恩。

更何況基督的血呢！基督藉著永恆的聖靈，將自己毫無瑕疵地獻給神，他的血難道不能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們事奉永生的神嗎？

因此，他怎樣替子民為罪獻祭，也必須照樣替自己為罪獻祭。

燔祭和贖罪祭不是你所喜悅的；於是我說：『看哪，我來了！關於我的事，經卷上已經記載了。神哪，我來是要遵行你的旨意！』」上文說：祭物、供物、燔祭和贖罪祭不是你所希望的，也不是你所喜悅的，儘管這些都是照著律法獻上的；接著又說：「看哪，我來了！是要遵行你的旨意！」神廢除前者，是為了確立後者。我們憑著這旨意，藉著耶穌基督身體做供物，就已經一次性地被分別為聖了。所有的祭司天天都站著服事，再三地獻上同樣的祭物，但這些祭物絕不能把罪孽除掉，而這一位為贖罪孽獻上了一個永遠的祭物，就在神的右邊坐下了，

原來他死，是一次性地向罪而死；他活，是向神而活。

他也不用再三地將自己獻上，像大祭司年年帶著牛羊的血進入聖所那樣，

他為我們獻上自己，是為了救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並且潔淨我們做他自己特選的子民，做美好工作的熱心人。

每一個從人間選出來的大祭司，都是受委任替人辦理屬神的事，要為罪孽獻上禮物和祭物。

原來，耶和華的意願是要壓傷他，使他受痛楚。當他把自己的性命作為贖罪祭時，他就必看見後裔，並且年日延綿；耶和華所喜悅的必在他手中興盛。經歷過身心的苦難後，他就必看見光，並且心滿意足。「我公義的僕人必使許多人因認識他得稱為義，他也必背負他們的罪孽。因此，我必使他在偉人中分得一份，他必與強者同分戰利品，因為他澆奠了自己的性命，以至於死。他被列在罪人當中，卻擔當了眾人的罪，又為罪人代求。」

要在愛中行事，就像基督也愛了我們，為我們捨棄了自己，做供物和祭物獻給神，成為馨香的氣味。

至於第二間會幕，只有大祭司一年進去一次，沒有不帶著血的；這血是為自己和子民無意中犯的罪所獻上的。

在他裡面，你們也一同被建造，藉著聖靈成為神居住的地方。
