我耶穌親遣天神以諸事示爾者、乃為眾教區之益。吾乃大維之根苗、光明燦爛之晨星。」

嗟爾蒼生、爾自犯責人之過、猶希倖免天主之譴責乎？

吾亦何幸、而蒙吾主之母相顧耶？

可頌哉、吾主耶穌基督之天主聖父也。天主已以諸天一切靈祉、因基督而沛加於吾人之身矣

二天神謂瑪麗曰：『女子、何泣為？』對曰：『以人移去吾主、不知置諸何處。』

蓋主律明載：「凡元胎男子、當見聖於主也。」又遵主律：「班鳩一雙、或孺鴿二翼」之明定、貢獻祭物。時都中有寅恪之士、名西默翁、平生殷望義塞之慰藉聖神恆與之偕、嘗蒙默啟、生前必得親睹上主之基督。是日、被靈感而詣聖殿、適逢二親懷嬰入、欲行定禮、西默翁接嬰入抱、而頌揚天主曰：『求我主宰、履爾所示、放爾僕人、安然謝世！既見救恩、我心則慰念斯救恩、實爾所備；普天生靈、咸仰其惠；萬國之光、義塞之輝！』二親聞言、驚喜交集。
