且預言之所指者、確係另一支派之人、而此支派向未有從事於祭臺者也。

And they rushed him out quickly, and he himself hurried to go out, because the Lord had struck him.And King Uzziah was a leper to the day of his death, and being a leper lived in a separate house, for he was excluded from the house of the Lord. And Jotham his son was over the king’s household, governing the people of the land.

Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood( for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron?

And the staff of the man whom I choose shall sprout. Thus I will make to cease from me the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against you.”
