For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast[ them] into the fire, and they are burned.

So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings,[ and] because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;[ And that] the whole land thereof[ is] brimstone, and salt,[ and] burning,[ that] it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

And now[ art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
