若是离弃道理，就不能叫他们从新懊悔了。因为他们把神的儿子重钉十字架，明明地羞辱他。

却背弃了真道，让他们重新悔改是不可能的。因为他们等于把上帝的儿子重新钉在十字架上，使祂再度公开受辱。

如果偏离了正道，就不可能再使他们重新悔改了。因为他们亲自把神的儿子再钉在十字架上，公然羞辱他。

後竟背教、其不克悔改自新、猶復釘上帝子於十字架、而顯辱之、

後竟背教、則不能再悔改自新、因其復釘天主子於十字架而顯辱之、

而竟中途背棄聖道、若而人者、不啻親手重釘基督於十字架上、且當眾而辱之也。欲其再行悔過自新、尚可得乎？

and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

But they have fallen away from the faith. So it won’t be possible to bring them back. They won’t be able to turn away from their sins. They are losing everything. That’s because they are nailing the Son of God to the cross all over again. They are bringing shame on him in front of everyone.

and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.

How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

If anyone sees his brother or sister committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will, for him, give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death; I am not saying that he should ask about that.

But wrongdoers and sinners together will be broken, And those who abandon the Lord will come to an end.

with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

Those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, shaking their heads and saying,“ Ha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,save Yourself by coming down from the cross!”In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes, were mocking Him among themselves and saying,“ He saved others; He cannot save Himself!Let this Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him.

Create in me a clean heart, God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

At that time two rebels* were being crucified with Him, one on the right and one on the left.And those passing by were speaking abusively to Him, shaking their heads,and saying,“ You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes and elders, were mocking Him and saying,“ He saved others; He cannot save Himself! He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him.He has trusted in God; let God rescue Him now, if He takes pleasure in Him; for He said,‘ I am the Son of God.’ ”And the rebels who had been crucified with Him were also insulting Him in the same way.

So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers.

And looking at them, Jesus said to them,“ With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

“ And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of pleading, so that they will look at Me whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be great, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo.The land will mourn, every family by itself; the family of the house of David by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself and their wives by themselves;the family of the house of Levi by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself and their wives by themselves;all the families that are left, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

And the people stood by, watching. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying,“ He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One.”The soldiers also ridiculed Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine,and saying,“ If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!”Now there was also an inscription above Him,“ THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying,“ Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!”

So you are witnesses and you approve of the deeds of your fathers; because it was they who killed them, and you build their tombs.
