Which[ hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

我們有這盼望，就像靈魂的錨，又穩當又堅固，通過幔子直進到裡面。

我們所有的這指望就像靈魂之錨，又穩當又堅固，通入幔後的內聖所；

我們所擁有的這盼望，像靈魂的錨，又可靠又堅固，並且進到幔子最裡層的那至聖所。

我有此望、如魂有錨、入於幔內、鞏固不移、

我所望福、藏于幔內、猶心之有錨、鞏固不移、

我儕有此望、猶心之錨、堅定不移、入於幔內、

此恩諾實為吾人停泊之所、前途遠大、希望無窮、穩而且固。此望也、乃吾人靈魂之鐵錨、而糺於閟帷深處者也。

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,

Our hope is certain. It is something for the soul to hold on to. It is strong and secure. It goes all the way into the Most Holy Room behind the curtain.

We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain,

This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil,

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,

which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;

We have this hope as an anchor for our lives, safe and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain,

And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that[ is] for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to[ his] purpose.For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate[ to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.What shall we then say to these things? If God[ be] for us, who[ can be] against us?He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect?[ It is] God that justifieth.Who[ is] he that condemneth?[ It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?[ shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy[ place] within the vail before the mercy seat, which[ is] upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

But into the second[ went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and[ for] the errors of the people:

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him,[ who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him,[ who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones[ is] as a storm[ against] the wall.

Therefore[ it is] of faith, that[ it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Behold, God[ is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH[ is] my strength and[ my] song; he also is become my salvation.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation[ is] from him.He only[ is] my rock and my salvation:[ he is] my defence; I shall not be moved.

And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed[ themselves] unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner[ stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Happy[ is he] that[ hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope[ is] in the LORD his God:Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein[ is]: which keepeth truth for ever:

Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and[ why] art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him[ for] the help of his countenance.

And hath raised[ us] up together, and made[ us] sit together in heavenly[ places] in Christ Jesus:

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;And[ having] an high priest over the house of God;

Blessed[ is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and[ that] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
