爾曹學道已久、當為他人之師、但今復需人以天主道之開端教爾、爾成為需乳不需堅實之食者、

以資歷論、爾等此時應可為人師矣；而在實際、仍須人教爾等以淺近之教理、一如乳臭兒之未可遽進以乾糧也。

弟兄姊妹，以前我對你們講話的時候，還不能把你們看作屬靈的人，只能把你們看作屬肉體的人，是在基督裡的嬰孩。我只能用奶而不能用飯來餵養你們，因為你們當時不能消化，甚至現在也不能。你們仍然是屬肉體的人，因為你們中間有嫉妒、爭鬥。這豈不證明你們是屬肉體的，行事為人和世人一樣嗎？

因為只能吃奶的人還是嬰孩，不熟習仁義的道理。

他們抱怨我說：「他想教導誰知識呢？他想把信息解釋給誰呢？是剛剛斷奶、離開母懷的嬰孩嗎？因為他的教導只是命命令令、命命令令、律律例例、律律例例、這裡一點、那裡一點。」

耶穌說：「唉！這世代又不信又敗壞的人啊，我要跟你們在一起待多久？我要容忍你們多久呢？把他帶來吧。」

孩子們啊，聽我說，我要教導你們敬畏耶和華。

耶穌說：「唉，這不信的世代啊！我要跟你們在一起待多久，容忍你們多久呢？把他帶到我這裡吧。」

耶和華說：「口渴的人啊，來喝水吧！沒有錢的人啊，來買東西吃吧！買酒買奶都不用付錢。

弟兄姊妹，你們要靠主喜樂！我再把這些事寫給你們，對我來說並不麻煩，對你們卻有好處。

其實益處非常多！首先，上帝的聖言託付給了猶太人。

但在教會中我寧可用悟性說五句教導人的話，勝過說萬句別人不懂的方言。

以斯拉定意研讀、遵行耶和華的律法，並在以色列教導律例和典章。

所以，對他們來說，耶和華的話成了命命令令、命命令令、律律例例、律律例例、這裡一點、那裡一點，以致他們走路時仰面跌倒，摔傷，落網，被捉。
