既有这安息保留着让一些人进入，那些先前听见福音的人，因不信从而不得进去，

所以，既然这安息为了一些进入它的人被保留下来，可是由于那些原先得以听到福音的人，因着不信从而没有进去，

那麼這安息既保留着要給一部分人進入，而先前得聽福音傳給他們的人又因不信、而沒有進入，

所以，既然這安息為了一些進入它的人被保留下來，可是由於那些原先得以聽到福音的人，因著不信從而沒有進去，

既有宜入之人、而先聞福音者、因不順故不入、

然安息終必有人享之、而先聞嘉音者不信故不得享、

如是、必別有得享安息者、但先聞福音者、因不信故、而不得享、

可見後來者必有得入者焉。彼先聞慈音者之不得入、徒以執迷不悟故耳。

Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience,

It is still true that some people will enjoy this rest. But those who had the good news announced to them earlier didn’t go in. That’s because they didn’t obey.

Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,

So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God.

Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news did not enter because of disobedience,

Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who previously had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience,

Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,

所以我告诉你们，神的国必从你们夺去，赐给那能结果子的民。

他向谁起誓，不容他们进入他的安息呢？岂不是向那些不信从的人吗？这样看来，他们不能进入安息是因为不信的缘故了。

你们的孩子，就是你们说要成为掳物的，我必领他们进去，他们就得知你们所厌弃的那地。

你们必留下自己的名给我选民指着赌咒：主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。

于是保罗和巴拿巴放胆说：“神的道本应先传给你们；只因你们弃绝这道，断定自己不配得永生，我们就转向外邦人。因为主曾这样吩咐我们：‘我已经立你作万邦之光，使你施行我的救恩，直到地极。’”

所以你们要往岔路口上去，凡遇见的，都邀来赴宴。’那些仆人就出去，到大路上，凡遇见的，不论善恶都招聚了来，宴席上就坐满了客人。

因为的确有福音传给我们像传给他们一样；只是所听见的道对他们无益，因为他们没有以信心与所听见的道配合。

我要用瘟疫击杀他们，使他们不得承受那地。我要使你成为大国，比他们强大。”

圣经既然预先看见神要使外邦人因信称义，预先传福音给亚伯拉罕，说：“万国都必因你得福。”

所以，你们当知道，神这救恩已经传给外邦人；他们会听的。”

那仆人回来，把这些事都告诉了主人。这家的主人就发怒，对仆人说：‘快出去，到城里大街小巷，领那贫穷的、残疾的、失明的、瘸腿的来。’仆人说：‘主啊，你所吩咐的已经办了，还有空位。’主人对仆人说：‘你出去，到大街小巷强拉人进来，坐满我的屋子。我告诉你们，先前所请的人没有一个可以尝到我的宴席。’”

这样看来，另有一安息日的安息为神的子民保留着。

弟兄们，我是说：时候不多了。从此以后，那有妻子的，要像没有一样；
