我見數座位、有坐之者、得審判之權、其為耶穌之證及天主道被殺之人、未拜獸與獸像、於額與手未受獸印誌者、我見其靈魂、彼皆復活、與基督同王一千年、

且必盡殺其黨、使教會知我鑒察人之心腹腎腸、必按爾各人所為而報之、

斯喻之意即此、種者、天主之道也、

願賜平康之天主、使爾聖潔無疵、保守爾神與魂與體、待我主耶穌基督降臨之日、皆得純全、無可指摘、

英雄乎、爾可腰間佩劍、顯出榮耀威嚴、

彼循己旨、以真道生我儕、使我儕於其所造之萬物中、為初實之果、○

眾聞此言、中心若刺、問彼得及其餘使徒曰、兄弟、我當何為、

必秉公義審鞫貧民、循正直判斷世之謙虛人、世之謙虛人或作國中窮乏人以口中之言責世、若擊之以杖、以詞氣殺滅惡人、

棄隱慝可恥之事、不行詭詐、不混天主之道、惟表彰真理、使人之心、在天主前、以我為是、

我儕不類多人為利混天主之道、乃由誠意奉天主之命、於天主前遵基督而言也、

智者或作有道學者之言如刺、會師所傳、如已釘之釘、皆一牧所賜、

終必苦如茵蔯、利同兩刃之刀、

主使爾權從郇而行、爾在敵中執掌權衡、
