上帝於四十載中憾誰、非犯罪而暴骨於野者乎、

神四十年之久，又厌烦谁呢？岂不是那些犯罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久惹上帝发怒的是谁呢？不就是那些犯罪作恶并倒毙在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久，神向谁发怒呢？不就是向那些犯了罪陈尸旷野的人吗？

神又向谁发怒了四十年之久呢？难道不是那些犯了罪、尸首倒在旷野的人吗？

四十年之久惹上帝發怒的是誰呢？不就是那些犯罪作惡並倒斃在曠野的人嗎？

又四十年彼所不悅者誰耶、非干罰而屍仆於野者乎、

天主於四十年間怒誰、非犯罪而屍仆於曠野者乎、

天主所謂：「厭惡斯代、垂四十春」者、又誰耶？非多行不義、卒至暴屍曠野者乎？

And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness?

Who was God angry with for 40 years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned? They died in the desert.

And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness?

And against whom was God provoked for forty years? Was it not those who sinned, whose dead bodies fell in the wilderness?

爾出言怨我、故所見核者、自二十歲以上、俱暴骨於野、

維爾知之素、欲俾爾憶之、昔主救民出埃及地、後滅諸不信者、

故爾當言耶和華有成命、必使人之尸骸、散於田疇、有若糞壤、亦猶刈者遺禾、無人拾之。

惟爾曹必暴骨於野。爾之子女、緣爾行惡、必令其盤旋於曠野、歷四十年、待爾屍骸消滅。

昔於埃及、及至曠野、俱行異跡、顯我榮光、斯人目擊、猶且試我、至於十次、不聽我言、

昔在西乃野、摩西與祭司亞倫曾核其眾、迄今被數之時、無一人在者、蓋耶和華曾有言曰、其人必死於曠野、故靡有孑遺。所尚存者、惟耶孚尼子迦勒、嫩之子約書亞而已。

蓋耶和華攻之、使之喪亡、尸骸消滅。武士殞沒、絕於民中之後、

我欲兄弟知、我列祖皆在雲蓋之下、徑行海中、宗摩西受洗於雲海、食靈食、飲靈飲、其所飲者、隨在皆有靈磐之水、磐者、基督也、其中多人為上帝不悅、使屍橫遍野、此可為我鑒、示我勿效彼嗜惡、勿效彼拜偶像、經云、民坐而飲食、起而舞蹈、勿行淫、彼曾行淫、一日殞二萬三千人、勿試基督、彼試之而死於蛇、勿怨尤、彼怨尤而亡於天誅、此亦可為我鑒、摩西筆之於書、以警我後世、然則自以為立者、宜慎勿傾也、爾所遇試惑、亦人之常耳、上帝言出惟行、不忍爾遭莫禦之試惑、試惑中、使爾力能禦之、必出迷途、
