那藉着天使所傳的話既是確定的；凡干犯悖逆的都受了該受的報應。

既然那藉着天使所傳的話是確定的，凡違背不聽從的，都受了該受的報應；

既然那藉着天使所傳的話是確定的，凡違背不聽從的，都受了該受的報應；

既然藉天使傳下來的話正確無誤，凡干犯、違背的人都受到了應有的報應，

那透過天使所傳講的信息既然是確定的，所有干犯和不聽從的，都受了應得的報應。

因為那由天使宣講之道既這麼確定，以致一切犯法和不聽從的事都當受該受的報應，

要知道，那藉著天使所說的話既然是確定的，連一切過犯和悖逆都受到了應得的報應，

蓋由天使所言若果鞏固、凡干犯不順者、皆受義報、

浸假道藉天使以傳、言出惟行、使諸犯逆、無不遭應得之譴、況吾棄救道、如此之大者、豈能逭乎、

其藉天使所傳之道既確定、凡不順而逆者、皆遭應得之報、

夫以天神所傳之誡命尚且一成不變、有犯必懲；

For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,

Even the message God spoke through angels had to be obeyed. Every time people broke the Law, they were punished. Every time they didn’t obey, they were punished.

For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,

For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished.

For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,

For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every violation and act of disobedience received a just punishment,

For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,

For if the word spoken through angels proved stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;

For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

For if the message spoken through angels proved to be so firm that every violation or disobedience received its just penalty,

You received the law as it was ordained by angels, and didn’t keep it!”

Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.

‘ Cursed is he who doesn’t uphold the words of this law by doing them.’ All the people shall say,‘ Amen.’”

Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.

The man who does presumptuously in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Yahweh your God, or to the judge, even that man shall die. You shall put away the evil from Israel.

considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

Now I desire to remind you, though you already know this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn’t believe.

then you shall bring out that man or that woman who has done this evil thing to your gates, even that same man or woman; and you shall stone them to death with stones.

“‘ But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native- born or a foreigner, blasphemes Yahweh. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.Because he has despised Yahweh’s word, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall be utterly cut off. His iniquity shall be on him.’”While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.Yahweh said to Moses,“ The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

If there is found among you, within any of your gates which Yahweh your God gives you, a man or woman who does that which is evil in Yahweh your God’s sight in transgressing his covenant,

He said to them,“ Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,‘ Every man put his sword on his thigh, and go back and forth from gate to gate throughout the camp, and every man kill his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.’”The sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. About three thousand men fell of the people that day.

Yahweh sent venomous snakes among the people, and they bit the people. Many people of Israel died.

Moses lifted up his hand, and struck the rock with his rod twice, and water came out abundantly. The congregation and their livestock drank.Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, in addition to those who died about the matter of Korah.

Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered strange fire before Yahweh, which he had not commanded them.Fire came out from before Yahweh, and devoured them, and they died before Yahweh.

While the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, Yahweh’s anger burned against the people, and Yahweh struck the people with a very great plague.

Your eyes have seen what Yahweh did because of Baal Peor; for Yahweh your God has destroyed all the men who followed Baal Peor from among you.But you who were faithful to Yahweh your God are all alive today.

However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written,“ The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty- three thousand fell.Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split apart.The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all of Korah’s men, and all their goods.So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.All Israel that were around them fled at their cry; for they said,“ Lest the earth swallow us up!”Fire came out from Yahweh, and devoured the two hundred fifty men who offered the incense.

Tell them,‘ As I live, says Yahweh, surely as you have spoken in my ears, so I will do to you.Your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and all who were counted of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have complained against me,surely you shall not come into the land concerning which I swore that I would make you dwell therein, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.But I will bring your little ones that you said should be captured or killed in, and they shall know the land which you have rejected.But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness.Your children shall be wanderers in the wilderness forty years, and shall bear your prostitution, until your dead bodies are consumed in the wilderness.After the number of the days in which you spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, you will bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you will know my alienation.’I, Yahweh, have spoken. I will surely do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.”The men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation to murmur against him by bringing up an evil report against the land,even those men who brought up an evil report of the land, died by the plague before Yahweh.

God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

Those who died by the plague were twenty- four thousand.

My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will condense as the dew, as the misty rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.

“ Bring him who cursed out of the camp; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.He who blasphemes Yahweh’s name, he shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native- born shall be put to death when he blasphemes the Name.

The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, into the sanctuary.
