所以他應該在各方面被形成為和弟兄們一樣，好在關於上帝的事上做能憐恤人而可信靠的大祭司，永為人民的罪做除罪祭。

所以，他凡事该与他的弟兄相同，为要在神的事上成为慈悲忠信的大祭司，为百姓的罪献上挽回祭。

這樣，孩子們既有分於血與肉，他自己也同樣與分於血與肉，這是要讓他藉着死叫那掌有死權的——就是魔鬼——無能為力，

反而將自己傾倒出來，取了奴僕的形質，成為人的樣式。既在形態上現為人的樣子，就卑抑了自己，成為聽從的、以至於死，並且是十字架上的死！

『關於你本國人民和你的聖城、已經截定了七十個七，為要結束罪過，了結罪惡，除盡罪孽，引進永久的義，印證異象和神言人的話，膏抹至聖之地。

這樣的大祭司、虔聖、無邪、無染污、隔離罪人、高過諸天、正合乎我們所需要的。

人君的本分是在節期、月初一、安息日、以色列家一切制定節期上、奉上燔祭、素祭、奠祭；是他要供備解罪祭、素祭、燔祭，和平安祭、來替以色列家除罪的。

祭司便宰了羊，將血獻在祭壇上作為解罪祭，為以色列眾人除罪；因為王吩咐要為以色列眾人獻上燔祭和解罪祭。

摩西在上帝全家忠信，他不過是做侍役，做以後要被宣講的事之表證而已。

以色列的眾家族每羣羊中每二百隻羊要獻一隻小羊、以作素祭、燔祭、和平安祭為人民除罪：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

公義必做他腰間的圍帶，忠信必做他脅下的束巾。

他對設立他的忠信，如同摩西在上帝家中忠信一樣。

凡解罪祭牲的血若被帶進會棚、在聖所裏做除罪禮的用處，那肉都喫不得；總要用火燒。

你們呢、你們素來在心神上因邪惡的行為被隔絕而做仇敵的、

因為那使人聖別的祭司、和那些蒙聖別的人、都出於一原；因這緣故，他不以為恥地稱他們為弟兄，

好把雙方、藉着十字架、在一個身體裏、跟上帝完全復和，因為他已經用十字架把那敵態消滅了。

一切都是由於上帝；他藉着基督使我們人跟他自己復和，又將復和的職分賜給我們。這就是說，在基督裏、上帝叫世人跟他自己復和，不將他們的過犯算在他們賬上，又將這復和之道託付了我們。所以我們替基督做大使，彷彿是上帝藉着我們來勸勉。我們替基督求你們，跟上帝復和吧。他叫那不認識罪的替我們成了罪，好叫我們在他裏面成為上帝之義。

我們做仇敵時、既藉着上帝兒子的死得與上帝復和，豈不更要在復和之後、因着基督的活以得救麼？

七月一日你也要為誤犯了罪的人或因愚戇無知而犯了罪的人而這樣行，好使你們為殿除罪染。

所以關於上帝的事、我在基督耶穌裏倒有可誇處。

律法是設立了許多人做大祭司、總是有弱點的人；但律法之後起誓的話卻是設立了一個兒子、是完全勝任到永遠的。

就宰了公牛；取點兒血，用指頭抹在祭壇四角上的周圍，給祭壇除罪污，把血倒在祭壇腳那裏，將壇分別為聖，給祭壇除罪染。
