故凡事宜如兄弟、得於上帝之事、為矜恤忠信之大祭司、為民罪作挽回之祭、

故當凡事同於兄弟、為矜恤忠信之祭司長、以事上帝、而贖民罪、

因此、彼不得不與眾兄弟儘量同化、俾在天主臺前、得充一忠心耿耿、富於同情之大司祭且為萬民之罪、而自獻為消怒之犧牲。

因为众儿女都是血肉之躯，所以祂也同样取了血肉之躯，为要亲身经历死亡，借此摧毁掌握死亡权势的魔鬼，

反而甘愿放下一切，取了奴仆的形象，降生为人的样子。祂以人的样子出现后，就自愿卑微，顺服至死，而且死在十字架上。

“已经为你的同胞和圣城定了七十个七，以终结叛逆，除掉罪恶，赎尽过犯，带来永远的公义，封住异象和预言，膏抹至圣所。

我们所需要的，正是这样一位圣洁无瑕、良善纯全、远离罪恶、超越诸天的大祭司。

君王要在节期、朔日、安息日等以色列人一切的节期献上燔祭、素祭和奠祭。他要预备赎罪祭、素祭、燔祭和平安祭的祭物，为以色列人赎罪。

祭司宰了公山羊，把血洒在坛上作赎罪祭，为所有以色列人赎罪，因为王吩咐要为所有以色列人献上燔祭和赎罪祭。

摩西以仆人的身份向上帝的全家尽忠，为将来要宣告的事做见证。

在以色列肥美的草场上，每二百只羊便要献上一只。这些供物用来作素祭、燔祭和平安祭，为以色列人赎罪。这是主耶和华说的。

公义必作他的腰带，信实必作他肋下的带子。

你们从前与上帝隔绝，行事邪恶，心思意念与祂为敌；

因为使人圣洁的耶稣和那些得以圣洁的人都出自同一位父亲，所以耶稣不以称呼他们弟兄姊妹为耻。

并借着十字架消灭彼此间的敌意，使双方借着一个身体与上帝和好。

这一切都是上帝的作为，祂借着基督使我们与祂和好，又把劝人与祂和好的职分赐给了我们。也就是说，上帝在基督里使世人与自己和好，不再追究他们的过犯。祂已托付我们去传扬这和好之道。所以我们现在是基督的大使，可以说上帝正借着我们发出呼求。我们替基督恳求你们：要与上帝和好！上帝使无罪的基督担当我们的罪，使我们可以借着基督成为被上帝接纳的义人。

如果我们还与上帝为敌的时候，尚且可以借着上帝儿子的死亡与上帝和好，和好后的我们岂不更要借着祂儿子的生命得到拯救吗？

到了一月七日，要同样为一切在无意和无知中犯罪的人赎罪，使圣殿保持洁净。

因此，我在基督耶稣里以事奉上帝为荣。

根据律法所立的大祭司都有弱点，但律法之后凭誓言所立的大祭司——上帝的儿子永远纯全。

摩西宰了牛，用手指蘸一些牛血抹在祭坛的四角上，以洁净祭坛；把剩下的血倒在祭坛脚旁，使祭坛圣洁。
