夫天主乃萬物之所歸、萬物之所始也；既欲藉其聖子、以登其眾子於光榮之域、則其以憂戚苦難磨練眾子之救主、以玉之於成、不亦宜乎？

In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.

God has made everything. He is now bringing his many sons and daughters to share in his glory. It is only right that Jesus is the one to lead them into their salvation. That’s because God made him perfect by his sufferings.

For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation.

For in bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God— for whom and through whom all things exist— should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

but put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.

for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him.He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him,

For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.

as He also says in Hosea:“ I will call those who were not My people,‘ My people,’ And her who was not beloved,‘ beloved.’ ”“ And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them,‘ you are not My people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.”

And He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I reach My goal.’

For the Law appoints men as high priests who are weak, but the word of the oath, which came after the Law, appoints a Son, who has been made perfect forever.

so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters;and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

For you are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

“ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.”

For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,

Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, A leader and commander for the peoples.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;

Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said,“ It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

“ Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens;

He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His gracewhich He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight

and not for the nation only, but in order that He might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise.

Therefore, I urge elders among you, as your fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and one who is also a fellow partaker of the glory that is to be revealed:

And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out,“ Abba! Father!”The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory;

And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon objects of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

The one who breaks through goes up before them; They break through, pass through the gate, and go out by it. So their king passes on before them, And the Lord at their head.”

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?”

The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil.

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven— things into which angels long to look.

Even though they pay for allies among the nations, I will gather them up now; And they will begin to diminish Because of the burden of the king of officials.

whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished;for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
