Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.

因此，讓我們也走出營外到祂那裡，忍受祂所忍受的凌辱吧！

那麼，讓我們也出到營外到他那裡去，擔當他的凌辱。

這樣，我們也當出到營外去找他，去擔當他所受的辱罵。

因此，讓我們到營地外面他那裡去，擔當他所受的責罵。

故我儕宜負其辱、出營外就之、

吾當遠離營壘、以就耶穌、亦受詬誶如彼焉、

故我儕當出營外就之、忍受其所受之辱、

因此亦宜出而就之於營外、而與之共受垢辱。

So let us go to him outside the camp. Let us be willing to suffer the shame he suffered.

We must go out to him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse he experienced.

Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored!To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world— right up to this moment.

The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.

Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their headsand saying,“ You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him.“ He saved others,” they said,“ but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you.

Then Jesus said to his disciples,“ Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
