應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

你们来到山脚下，站在那里，山上烈焰冲天、乌云密布、极其幽暗。

那时雷电交加，号角嘹亮，山上冒烟，百姓看见此情景，都吓得浑身颤抖，不敢挨近。

“这是耶和华在山上的烈火、乌云和幽暗中高声颁布给你们全体会众的诫命。此外，祂没有说别的。祂把这些话写在两块石版上交给我。当时，山上燃烧着烈焰，你们听见声音从黑暗中传来。你们各支派的首领和长老都到我跟前，说，‘看啊，我们的上帝耶和华向我们彰显了祂的荣耀和威严，我们听见了祂从火中发出的声音。今天我们已经看见，人听见上帝说话后还能活着。但我们何必冒死，被这烈火吞噬呢？我们若再次听到我们的上帝耶和华的声音，必然丧命。世上有谁像我们一样听见永活上帝从火中说话后还能活着呢？

在以色列人眼中，耶和华的荣耀在山上好像烈火。

因为上帝赐给我们的不是懦弱的心，而是刚强、仁爱、自律的心。

你们接受的圣灵不是使你们做奴隶，仍旧害怕，而是使你们做儿子，可以称上帝为“阿爸，父亲”。

那定人罪的事工尚且有荣耀，这使人被称为义人的事工岂不更有荣耀吗？

此外，你要在山的四围划定界线，吩咐百姓不得上山或碰到界线，违例者死。你们不可用手触摸违例者，要用石头打死他或用箭射死他，牲畜也不例外。百姓要一直等到听见角声长鸣才可上山。”于是，摩西下山回到百姓那里，吩咐他们各人洁净自己，洗净衣服。又吩咐他们说：“到后天一切都要准备好，这期间你们不可亲近女人。”到了第三天早晨，山上雷电大作，乌云密布，又有嘹亮的号角声，营中的百姓都胆战心惊。摩西率领百姓出营迎接上帝，他们都站在山脚下。因为耶和华在火中降临到西奈山，整座山都冒着浓烟，滚滚上腾，好像一个大火窑，整座山都震动起来。号角声越来越嘹亮。摩西说话，上帝就回应他，声音好像雷鸣。耶和华降临在西奈山顶，召摩西到山顶，摩西就上去了。耶和华对摩西说：“你下去嘱咐百姓不可闯过界线到我这里观看，以免很多人死亡。吩咐到我面前来的祭司要洁净自己，免得我忽然出来击杀他们。”

罪不能再主宰你们，因为你们已经不在律法之下，而是在恩典之中。
