若长出来的尽是荆棘和蒺藜，就毫无价值，它会面临被咒诅的危险，最后必遭焚烧。

我会清楚地告诉他们，‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人走开！’

雅各接受了以撒的祝福才刚离开，他的哥哥以扫就打猎回来了。以扫把野味煮好，拿到父亲跟前，说：“父亲，请起来吃你儿子煮的野味，然后给我祝福。”他父亲以撒问道：“你是谁？”以扫回答说：“我是你的长子以扫。”以撒大为震惊，说：“你没有来之前，拿野味来给我吃的是谁呢？我已经吃了，也给那人祝福了，他将来必蒙祝福。”以扫听了放声痛哭，说：“父亲啊，求你也为我祝福！”以撒说：“你弟弟已经用诡计把你的福分夺去了。”以扫说：“怪不得他叫雅各，他已经骗了我两次，先前把我长子的名分夺去，现在又夺去我的福分！”接着他对父亲说：“难道你没有留下别的祝福可以给我吗？”以撒对以扫说：“我已经立他做你的主人，使他的众弟兄做他的仆人，并给他五谷和新酒。孩子啊，我还能为你做什么呢？”以扫对父亲说：“父亲啊，你只有一个祝福吗？父亲啊，求你也为我祝福！”以扫又放声大哭。以撒对他说：“你住的地方必远离肥沃的土地，也不会有天上的甘霖。你必倚靠刀剑生活，又必服侍你的弟弟。到你无法忍受的时候，你必挣脱颈上的重轭。”以扫因为父亲把祝福给了雅各，就对雅各怀恨在心，暗自思量说：“父亲已经不久人世，他死后，我要把雅各杀掉！”

“你们要努力进窄门，因为我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进却进不去。当主人起来把门关闭之后，你们才站在外面叩门哀求，说，‘主啊，给我们开门吧！’主人必说，‘我不认识你们，你们是从哪里来的？’“那时，你们必说，‘我们不是在一起用过餐吗？你不是在街上教导过我们吗？’“主人必说，‘我告诉你们，我不认识你们，也不知道你们是从哪里来的。你们这些作恶的人，走开！’

他们被称为废弃的银渣，因为耶和华已丢弃他们。”

有些人曾蒙上帝光照，尝过天赐恩典的滋味，有份于圣灵，尝过上帝之道的甘美，领悟到永世的权能，却背弃了真道，让他们重新悔改是不可能的。因为他们等于把上帝的儿子重新钉在十字架上，使祂再度公开受辱。

我呼唤你们，你们却充耳不闻；我向你们招手，你们却视若无睹。你们漠视我的劝诫，不接受我的责备。因此，你们遭遇灾难时，我必发笑；惊恐临到你们时，我必嗤笑——那时，恐惧如风暴袭击你们，灾难如旋风临到你们，忧愁和苦难吞没你们。你们呼求我，我也不回答；你们恳切地寻找我，却找不到。因为你们厌恶知识，不愿意敬畏耶和华，不接受我的劝诫，又藐视我的责备。所以，你们必自食其果，因自己的恶谋而吃尽苦头。

因为我们知道了真理以后，若仍然故意犯罪，就再没有赎罪祭了，只有可怕的审判和烧灭敌对者的烈火等候我们。人违犯摩西的律法，经两三个人指证后，尚且被毫不留情地处死，更何况人践踏上帝的儿子，轻看那使人圣洁的立约之血，又藐视赐人恩典的圣灵？这等人该受多么重的刑罚啊！
