慎勿失上帝恩、恐有若惡草、根株滋長、妨爾浼眾、

當謹慎、恐爾中有失天主之恩者、恐有毒根滋長、妨礙爾眾、使多人染穢污、

又宜互相檢點、莫使有一人退化、而自絕於天主之聖寵；莫使辛螫之根苗、萌櫱滋蔓、為厲之階、而令眾人受其沾染；

See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

Be sure that no one misses out on God’s grace. See to it that a bitter plant doesn’t grow up. If it does, it will cause trouble. And it will make many people impure.

See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no“ root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;

Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.Keep yourselves in God’s love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a pure and faithful seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?

Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.

Don’t be deceived!“ Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”

let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?For we know him who said,“ Vengeance belongs to me;” says the Lord,“ I will repay.” Again,“ The Lord will judge his people.”It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings;partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions; and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.

Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?— unless indeed you are disqualified.

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poison grapes. Their clusters are bitter.

Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.

We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,

Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we have not cleansed ourselves to this day, although there came a plague on the congregation of Yahweh,that you must turn away today from following Yahweh? It will be, since you rebel today against Yahweh, that tomorrow he will be angry with the whole congregation of Israel.However, if the land of your possession is unclean, then pass over to the land of the possession of Yahweh, in which Yahweh’s tabernacle dwells, and take possession among us; but don’t rebel against Yahweh, nor rebel against us, in building an altar other than Yahweh our God’s altar.Didn’t Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the devoted thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,

For the vineyard of Yahweh of Armies is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for justice, but, behold, oppression; for righteousness, but, behold, a cry of distress.

Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—

What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Why, when I looked for it to yield grapes, did it yield wild grapes?

By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.A good tree can’t produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

Yahweh turned from the fierceness of his anger. Therefore the name of that place was called“ The valley of Achor” to this day.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.

And the rest of the Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.

He will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he has sinned, and with which he has made Israel to sin.”

Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.

But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.

Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,

Moses said to Aaron,“ What did these people do to you, that you have brought a great sin on them?”

Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;

But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness,and those words will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus:

But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.Every man who strives in the games exercises self- control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.I therefore run like that, not aimlessly. I fight like that, not beating the air,but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.

Men will arise from among your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.
