Brothers and sisters, if a person is discovered in some sin, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.

A thoroughfare will be there– it will be called the Way of Holiness. Blind and lame people will come with them, so will pregnant women and women about to give birth. A vast throng of people will come back here.They will come back shedding tears of contrition. Then the lame will leap like a deer, the mute tongue will shout for joy; for water will flow in the desert, streams in the wilderness.

Your perpetual ruins will be rebuilt; you will reestablish the ancient foundations. You will be called,‘ The one who repairs broken walls, the one who makes the streets inhabitable again.’

So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.

Yet my people have forgotten me and offered sacrifices to worthless idols! This makes them stumble along in the way they live and leave the old reliable path of their fathers. They have left them to walk in bypaths, in roads that are not smooth and level.

Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be brought low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth,
