伯鐸祿若望曰：『順爾旨而背天主、爾自分於理有當否？

翌日、千總欲知猶太人控葆樂者究係何事乃釋其縲絏、召集司祭長及公會中人、挈葆樂下、令立於眾前。

蓋若輩無以相報、而爾必見報於諸聖復活之日矣。』

耶穌曰：『予不曾云汝但能信、必獲睹天主之光榮乎？』眾乃移石。耶穌仰視曰：『感荷聖父垂聽、予固知予有所求、父莫不應也。然予之言此、乃欲使環立於斯之眾庶、篤信父之遣予耳。』語畢乃大聲而呼曰：『賴柴魯興矣！』死者應聲而出、手足縛布、面裹巾。耶穌曰：『解之使行！』為弔唁瑪麗而來之猶太人、既睹耶穌所行、多信奉之；

伯鐸祿扶之使立、乃召聖徒及諸嫠、以復生者歸之。

蓋人至復活、不娶不嫁、一如天神。

蓋若輩乃天主之子、不復有死、一如天神、而為復活之子矣。

善者復活以享永生、惡者復活以受天罰。

諸吏方以革帶縛之、葆樂詰旁立之巴總曰：『未經審判而鞭撻羅馬人、是有例乎？』巴總聞言、即往見千總曰：『渠乃羅馬人也！將如之何？』
