Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.

我在众人眼中成了某种恶兆，但你是我坚固的避难所。

主啊，求你把我们邻国所加给你的羞辱，七倍归回到他们身上！

因此，让我们到营地外面他那里去，担当他所受的责骂。

所以你不要以有关我们主的见证为耻，也不要以我——这主的囚犯为耻，而要藉着神的大能，为福音与我同受苦难。

他把为基督受的责骂看做是比埃及的财宝更大的财富，因为他注目那将来的报偿。

耶和华啊，你的仇敌就是这样羞辱了我，这样羞辱了你受膏者的脚踪！

另有些人经受了戏弄、鞭打的试炼；还有些人受了捆锁、监禁的试炼；

“你们这些认识公义、把我的律法存在心里的子民哪，要听我的话！你们不要害怕人的辱骂，也不要因他们的毁谤而丧胆。

然而我为你的殿，心火焚烧；辱骂你之人的辱骂都落在我身上。

愿主施怜悯给奥尼斯弗罗的家人，因为他多次使我神清气爽，也没有以我的锁链为耻；相反，他一到罗马，就殷切地寻找我，并且找到了。愿主使他在那日子得到主的怜悯！至于他在以弗所的一切服事工作，你知道得更清楚。

所以，为了基督的缘故，我在那些软弱中、凌辱中、艰难中、在逼迫和困苦中，都感到喜悦；因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。
