一般司祭、雖朝朝束身奉事、而供獻千遍一律之祭祀、終不能脫吾人於罪累也。

因为公牛和山羊的血，不可能把罪孽除去。

每一个从人间选出来的大祭司，都是受委任替人办理属神的事，要为罪孽献上礼物和祭物。

既然律法带有那将要来的美好事物的影子，它不是那些事物的本像，就绝不能藉着年年不断地献上同样的祭物，使近前来的人得以完全。

他派出的军队会起来亵渎那作为堡垒的圣所，并废除常献的祭，设立那带来荒凉的可憎者。

我不是因你的祭物责备你，你的燔祭一直在我面前。我不从你家里拿公牛，不从你羊圈里拿公山羊；因为森林中的百兽是我的，千山上的牲畜也是我的。群山一切的飞鸟，我都认识，田野一切的走兽也都属我。我就算饥饿，也不用对你说，因为世界和其中所充满的都是我的。难道我吃壮牛的肉，喝公山羊的血吗？

耶和华说：“你们所献的众多祭物，对我有什么意义呢？公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已经腻烦了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我也不喜悦。

他不需要像其他大祭司那样天天献祭：先为自己的罪孽，然后为子民；因为当他把自己献上的时候，就一次性地把这事完成了。

照着祭司职务的规矩，抽中了签就进入主的圣所烧香。烧香的时候，全体民众都在外面祷告。

从常献的祭被废除，并那带来荒凉的可憎者被设立的时候，必有一千两百九十天；

他将与许多人订立一个‘七’之久的坚固盟约；而在半个‘七’的时候，他将使祭物和供物止息。在那些可憎者的羽翼上，必出现一个带来荒凉的人，直到那被注定的灭绝倾泻在这带来荒凉的人身上。”

我还在祷告中说话的时候，先前的异象中见过的那位样貌像人的加百列快速地飞到我这里来；那时大约是献晚祭的时候。

它高抬自己，要高达天军之首；它还除掉给天军之首常献的祭，使他的圣所之地被丢弃。
