立於斯、大地震動、垂鑒察、民人戰慄、自昔以來、恆久之山嶽、皆主所造、今則見主而崩頹、渺然無蹤、

主立、使地震動、鑒察、使萬民驚惶、恆久之山崩裂、永在之嶽頽陷、自亙古以來、其道即若是、

He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age- old hills collapsed— but he marches on forever.

When he stood up, the earth shook. When he looked at the nations, they trembled with fear. The age- old mountains crumbled. The ancient hills fell down. But he marches on forever.

He stood and measured the earth; he looked and shook the nations; then the eternal mountains were scattered; the everlasting hills sank low. His were the everlasting ways.

When he stops, the earth shakes. When he looks, the nations tremble. He shatters the everlasting mountains and levels the eternal hills. He is the Eternal One!

The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

And his mercy[ is] on them that fear him from generation to generation.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.[ Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:And gave their land[ for] an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou[ art] God.

The mountains saw thee,[ and] they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice,[ and] lifted up his hands on high.

Why leap ye, ye high hills?[ this is] the hill[ which] God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell[ in it] for ever.

Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all[ other] they took in battle.For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly,[ and] that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.

Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance,[ in] the place, O LORD,[ which] thou hast made for thee to dwell in,[ in] the Sanctuary, O Lord,[ which] thy hands have established.

But the mercy of the LORD[ is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which[ is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west,[ and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.And ye shall flee[ to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come,[ and] all the saints with thee.

The mountains skipped like rams,[ and] the little hills like lambs.What[ ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan,[ that] thou wast driven back?Ye mountains,[ that] ye skipped like rams;[ and] ye little hills, like lambs?Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.

The mountains melted from before the LORD,[ even] that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan;( this[ is] the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance,[ even] the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.And[ as for] the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:From mount Hor ye shall point out[ your border] unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This[ is] the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received[ their inheritance]; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan[ near] Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,These[ are] the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.And the names of the men[ are] these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.These[ are they] whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,As[ when] the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries,[ that] the nations may tremble at thy presence!When thou didst terrible things[ which] we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess[ it].So the children went in and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the land, that they might do with them as they would.

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
