Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For you have shed human blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.

You have robbed many nations. So the nations that are left will rob you. You have spilled human blood. You have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.

Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them.

Because you have plundered many nations, now all the survivors will plunder you. You committed murder throughout the countryside and filled the towns with violence.

Since you have plundered many nations, all the peoples who remain will plunder you— because of human bloodshed and violence against lands, cities, and all who live in them.

人不虐爾、而爾虐人、人不誣爾、而爾誣人、禍將及矣、爾以誣虐施諸人、則人待爾亦若是、

昔爾強奪利巴嫩之木、殺人強據、害諸邑民、故必遘禍、若獸被執不勝觳觫、

列國之人必服事之、爰及子孫、屆滅國之期而後已、厥後邦國眾多、列王顯赫、必使巴比倫王供其服役。

惟彼列邦、攻擊耶路撒冷、耶和華必降災、未亡之前、必肉瘦目昏舌敝、

我萬有之主耶和華曰、以色列族、暨猶大家、為人暴虐、見擄於敵、不復釋之。我萬有之主耶和華、奮其大能、加以拯救、必伸其冤、歸於福地、使巴比倫人、戰慄不勝。

耶和華曰昔巴比倫迦勒底人、在郇邑作惡、為爾目睹、我必報之。

我在巴比倫必罰彼勒、所吞者使哇而出之、列邦不復歸巴比倫、其城垣傾覆、我使之然。

郇邑及耶路撒冷民曰、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、噬予滅予、使我為虛器、吞我若蛇、飫我肥甘、逐我遠去、彼虐遇予、殺予戚屬、罪必歸巴比倫、及迦勒底民。

災降於車馬、以及異族、使之喪膽、無異婦女。災降於貨財、被人刧掠。

昔我微怒斯民、異邦安佚之人、加我民以患難、我深為不悅、

昔耶和華震怒厥民、以其地付爾、俾染污俗、乃爾不以矜憫為懷、使其父老、負戴重軛、

巴比倫之邑民兮、昔爾害予、擲嬰孩於石、今有人待爾若此者、必得純嘏兮。

大聲呼曰、聖誠之主歟、不問天下億兆、伸我流血之冤、將俟何時乎、

蓋我耶和華滅巴比倫、邑中譁然、聲若波濤洶湧、我平息之。攻巴比倫壯士淪喪、強弓已折、蓋我耶和華上帝雪忿報仇若此。

民取輜重、若蝗食蒭、民盡疾趨、若蝗迅飛。

耶和華又曰、迦勒底地為人侵奪、奪之者皆饜其欲。昔迦勒底人殲滅我民、欣喜不勝、身肥體胖、若牛得蒭、若馬長嘶。

天歟、聖使徒及先知、可欣喜、以巴比倫罪爾、而上帝亦罪巴比倫故也、有能天使舉大石如磨、投於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、當猝然傾圮、不復得見、有如此石、鼓琴作樂、品簫吹角之音、不復聞於爾間、百工不復居於爾間、磨聲不再聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新娶者、與新婦之語、不復聞於爾間、爾商旅乃世上大夫、萬國以爾巫術迷惑、先知聖徒、與天下見殺者之血、於巴比倫見之、

巴比倫人、居於水濱、多得貨財、禍害已至、為人所虜。

耶路撒冷被圍之時、我必使其居民與猶大全家為爵、俾列邦飲之、至於酩酊、當是日、天下列邦、和會於此、攻擊耶路撒冷、若移巨石、我必使斯石甚重、反害其身、耶和華曰、當斯時也、我將使異邦之馬、不勝恐懼、目為之盲、乘馬之人、必至顛狂、惟猶大全家、我必眷顧、

我萬有之主耶和華曰、儀容赫奕、既經顯著、耶和華特遣予督責虜爾之民、凡犯爾者、與犯其眸子無異、我將舉手、使彼奴僕、反虜其主、則爾乃知萬有之主耶和華遣我。

耶和華曰、敵人至自北方、攻巴比倫、天地萬物、謳歌不已。

列邦之民和會、環攻乎爾、彼云願郇邑污衊、為我目睹、惟彼列邦、不知我耶和華之意、不測我謀、後必為我所集、譬諸禾稼、束於穀場、郇邑之民、當起而踐斯穀、我必使爾角若鐵、爾蹄若銅、彼之民人為爾抵觸、而蹂躪之、以其財貨供事我天下之主耶和華。

今巴比倫傾頽崩毀、為之舉哀、求乳香以醫厥疾。

以色列族若亡羊、為獅所驅、初為亞述王吞噬、後為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒折骨。萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、昔我罰亞述王、後必罰巴比倫王、及其土地、亦若是。

厥後噬爾者將見嚙、敵爾者將被虜、劫爾者將被盜、攘爾者將見奪。

爾謀不軌、殲滅眾民、自取罪戾、貽羞家庭、
