越七日、吾降霪雨、必浹四旬、晝夜不絕、凡所造之生物、盡滅於地。

Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth. It will rain for 40 days and 40 nights. I will destroy from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

洪水就臨到地上四十天；水不斷上漲，把方舟升起，於是方舟就從地上浮起來。

大雨傾盆下在地上，一連四十晝夜。

耶和華說：“我要把我創造的人，從地上消滅；無論是人或牲畜，是爬行的動物或是天空的飛鳥，我都要消滅，因為我後悔造了他們。”

看哪，我要使洪水臨到地上，消滅天下的生物，就是有生氣的活物；在地上的都必定要死。

神對挪亞說：“在我面前全人類的盡頭已經來到，因為地上由於他們的緣故滿了強暴。看哪，我要把他們和世界一起毀滅。

他們未到時候，就被抓去，他們的根基被洪水沖去。

“我曾在收割前三個月，不降雨給你們；我降雨給一個城，在另一個城卻不降雨；我在一塊地降雨，另一塊地沒有雨水就枯乾了。

挪亞再等了七天，又把鴿子放出去，鴿子就再沒有回到他那裡。

得勝的，也必這樣身穿白衣，我決不從生命冊上塗抹他的名，我還要在我父和他的眾天使面前，承認他的名。

願他們的名字從生命冊上被塗抹，不要讓他們和義人一同被記錄。

他為風定輕重，又度量眾水；

他使密雲滿載水氣，雲彩布散他的電光。電光照著神的指引來往旋轉，在地球上行他一切所吩咐的。

那七天一過，洪水就臨到地上了。

你與大女兒七天的慶典過了以後，我們也把小女兒給你，只是你要再服事我七年。”於是雅各這樣作了。他與利亞七天的慶典過了以後，拉班就把自己的女兒拉結給雅各為妻。

現在，如果你肯赦免他們的罪，那就好了；如果不肯，求你從你所寫的冊上把我塗抹吧。”耶和華對摩西說：“誰得罪了我，我就要從我的冊上把誰塗抹。

原野上還沒有樹木，田間的蔬菜還沒有長起來，因為耶和華神還沒有降雨在地上，也沒有人耕種土地；

耶和華說：“人既然是屬肉體的，我的靈就不永遠住在他裡面，但他的日子還有一百二十年。”

他吸收滴滴水點，使水滴在雲霧中化成雨，雲層傾下雨水，沛然降在世人身上。誰能明白雲彩的展開，和神行宮的雷聲呢？他在自己的周圍展開電光，又用水遮蓋海底；他用這些審斷萬人，又賜予豐盛的糧食；他以電光遮蓋雙手，然後吩咐電光去攻擊目標，

凡有生命仍在地上行動的，無論是飛鳥或是牲畜，走獸或是在地上滋生的各樣小生物，以及所有的人都死了；仍在陸地上，鼻孔裡有氣息的生靈都死了。耶和華把地上的所有生物，從人類到牲畜，爬行的動物，以及空中的飛鳥都除滅了；於是，這一切都從地上消滅了。只留下挪亞和那些與挪亞一同在方舟裡的。

他再等了七天，又把鴿子從方舟裡放出去。
