Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

洪水就临到地上四十天；水不断上涨，把方舟升起，于是方舟就从地上浮起来。

大雨倾盆下在地上，一连四十昼夜。

耶和华说：“我要把我创造的人，从地上消灭；无论是人或牲畜，是爬行的动物或是天空的飞鸟，我都要消灭，因为我后悔造了他们。”

看哪，我要使洪水临到地上，消灭天下的生物，就是有生气的活物；在地上的都必定要死。

神对挪亚说：“在我面前全人类的尽头已经来到，因为地上由于他们的缘故满了强暴。看哪，我要把他们和世界一起毁灭。

他们未到时候，就被抓去，他们的根基被洪水冲去。

“我曾在收割前三个月，不降雨给你们；我降雨给一个城，在另一个城却不降雨；我在一块地降雨，另一块地没有雨水就枯干了。

挪亚再等了七天，又把鸽子放出去，鸽子就再没有回到他那里。

得胜的，也必这样身穿白衣，我决不从生命册上涂抹他的名，我还要在我父和他的众天使面前，承认他的名。

愿他们的名字从生命册上被涂抹，不要让他们和义人一同被记录。

他为风定轻重，又度量众水；

他使密云满载水气，云彩布散他的电光。电光照着神的指引来往旋转，在地球上行他一切所吩咐的。

那七天一过，洪水就临到地上了。

你与大女儿七天的庆典过了以后，我们也把小女儿给你，只是你要再服事我七年。”于是雅各这样作了。他与利亚七天的庆典过了以后，拉班就把自己的女儿拉结给雅各为妻。

现在，如果你肯赦免他们的罪，那就好了；如果不肯，求你从你所写的册上把我涂抹吧。”耶和华对摩西说：“谁得罪了我，我就要从我的册上把谁涂抹。

原野上还没有树木，田间的蔬菜还没有长起来，因为耶和华神还没有降雨在地上，也没有人耕种土地；

耶和华说：“人既然是属肉体的，我的灵就不永远住在他里面，但他的日子还有一百二十年。”

他吸收滴滴水点，使水滴在云雾中化成雨，云层倾下雨水，沛然降在世人身上。谁能明白云彩的展开，和神行宫的雷声呢？他在自己的周围展开电光，又用水遮盖海底；他用这些审断万人，又赐予丰盛的粮食；他以电光遮盖双手，然后吩咐电光去攻击目标，

凡有生命仍在地上行动的，无论是飞鸟或是牲畜，走兽或是在地上滋生的各样小生物，以及所有的人都死了；仍在陆地上，鼻孔里有气息的生灵都死了。耶和华把地上的所有生物，从人类到牲畜，爬行的动物，以及空中的飞鸟都除灭了；于是，这一切都从地上消灭了。只留下挪亚和那些与挪亚一同在方舟里的。

他再等了七天，又把鸽子从方舟里放出去。
