On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.

耶和华对挪亚说：“你和你的全家都要进入方舟，因为在这世代中，我看你在我面前是个义人。

但我要与你立约；你同你的儿子、妻子和媳妇都要进入方舟。

闪也生了儿子，他是雅弗的哥哥，是希伯人的祖先。

挪亚的儿子，从方舟出来的，有闪、含和雅弗。含是迦南的父亲。这是挪亚的三个儿子，他们的后裔散布全地。

因着信，挪亚既蒙上帝指示他未见的事，动了敬畏的心，造了方舟，使他全家得救。藉此他定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那从信而来的义。

就是那些从前在挪亚预备方舟、上帝容忍等待的时候不信从的人。当时进入方舟，藉着水得救的不多，只有八个人。

这是挪亚的儿子闪、含、雅弗的后代。洪水以后，他们都生了儿子。雅弗的儿子是歌篾、玛各、玛代、雅完、土巴、米设、提拉。

挪亚生了三个儿子，就是闪、含和雅弗。

挪亚活到五百岁，生了闪、含和雅弗。

既然上帝也没有宽容上古的世界，曾叫洪水临到那不敬虔的世界，只保护了报公义信息的挪亚一家八口；

挪亚，闪，含，雅弗。雅弗的儿子是歌篾、玛各、玛代、雅完、土巴、米设和提拉。歌篾的儿子是亚实基拿、低法和陀迦玛。雅完的儿子是以利沙、他施、基提和罗单人。含的儿子是古实、麦西、弗和迦南。古实的儿子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉玛和撒弗提迦。拉玛的儿子是示巴和底但。古实又生宁录，他是地上第一个勇士。麦西生路低人、亚拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、帕斯鲁细人、迦斯路希人和迦斐托人；非利士人是从迦斐托人出来的。迦南生了长子西顿，又生赫和耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、希未人、亚基人、西尼人、亚瓦底人、洗玛利人和哈马人。闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法撒、路德、亚兰、乌斯、户勒、基帖和米设。亚法撒生沙拉；沙拉生希伯。希伯生了两个儿子：一个名叫法勒，因为那时人分地居住；法勒的兄弟名叫约坍。约坍生亚摩答、沙列、哈萨玛非、耶拉、哈多兰、乌萨、德拉、以巴录、亚比玛利、示巴、阿斐、哈腓拉和约巴。这些都是约坍的儿子。闪，亚法撒，沙拉，希伯，法勒，拉吴，西鹿，拿鹤，他拉，亚伯兰，亚伯兰就是亚伯拉罕。亚伯拉罕的儿子是以撒和以实玛利。

含的儿子是古实、麦西、弗、迦南。

挪亚同他的儿子、妻子和媳妇都进入方舟，躲避洪水。洁净的牲畜和不洁净的牲畜，飞鸟及所有爬行在土地上的，都一对一对，有公有母，到挪亚那里，进入方舟，正如上帝所吩咐挪亚的。
