When everything was ready, the Lord said to Noah,“ Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I can see that you alone are righteous.

The Lord then said to Noah,“ Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Go into the ark with your whole family. I know that you are a godly man among the people of today.

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation.

Then the LORD said to Noah,“ Enter the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before me in this generation.

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this generation.

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.

And Jehovah said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Enter the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before Me in this generation.

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

The LORD said to Noah,“ Come into the ark, you and all your household, for I consider you godly among this generation.

Yahweh said to Noah,“ Come with all of your household into the ship, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.

This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.

That very day Noah had gone into the boat with his wife and his sons— Shem, Ham, and Japheth— and their wives.

“ When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat.People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.

And God did not spare the ancient world— except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood.Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people.But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him.Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day.So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.

He went on board the boat to escape the flood— he and his wife and his sons and their wives.

those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood.

“ When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.

It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.

so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.

He said to him,“ Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city.”Then I heard the Lord say to the other men,“ Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity!Kill them all— old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin right here at the Temple.” So they began by killing the seventy leaders.

Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.

This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away— all who have been called by the Lord our God.”

Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned!But the wicked are doomed, for they will get exactly what they deserve.

Go home, my people, and lock your doors! Hide yourselves for a little while until the Lord’s anger has passed.Look! The Lord is coming from heaven to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will no longer hide those who have been killed. They will be brought out for all to see.

The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe.

The godly are showered with blessings; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away.

But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.

From six disasters he will rescue you; even in the seventh, he will keep you from evil.He will save you from death in time of famine, from the power of the sword in time of war.You will be safe from slander and have no fear when destruction comes.You will laugh at destruction and famine; wild animals will not terrify you.You will be at peace with the stones of the field, and its wild animals will be at peace with you.You will know that your home is safe. When you survey your possessions, nothing will be missing.

Those who fear the Lord are secure; he will be a refuge for their children.

People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.

Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death.The godly are directed by honesty; the wicked fall beneath their load of sin.The godliness of good people rescues them; the ambition of treacherous people traps them.When the wicked die, their hopes die with them, for they rely on their own feeble strength.The godly are rescued from trouble, and it falls on the wicked instead.
