然爾多欲、如水之沸、爾上父榻而污之、故不卓越於昆弟間。

但你放纵情欲，滚沸如水，必不得居首位；因为你上了你父亲的床，污秽了我的榻。

你却放纵如水，必不得居首位；因为你上了你父亲的床，你上了我的榻，污辱了它！

你却放纵如水，必不得居首位；因为你上了你父亲的床，你上了我的榻，污辱了它！

可是，你必不再居首位，因为你放纵情欲，如沸腾不止的水，你上了你父亲的床，玷污了我的榻。

但是你放纵情欲，好像水沸腾一样，你必不能居首位；因为你上了你父亲的床；上了我的榻，然后把它玷污了。

你却放纵如水，必不再出众；因为你上了你父亲的床，把床玷污了。他居然上了我的床铺！

惟爾如水之沸、故不卓犖、緣登父牀、而污我榻、

飄蕩或作沸然如水、不可越弟、蓋登父床、污穢我榻、○

Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel, for you went up onto your father’s bed, onto my couch and defiled it.

But you are as unsteady as water. So you won’t be first anymore. You had sex with my concubine on my bed. You lay on my couch and made it‘ unclean.’

Unstable as water, you shall not have preeminence, because you went up to your father’s bed; then you defiled it— he went up to my couch!

But you are as unruly as a flood, and you will be first no longer. For you went to bed with my wife; you defiled my marriage couch.

Turbulent as water, you will not excel, because you got into your father’s bed and you defiled it— he got into my bed.

Uncontrollable as water, you shall not have preeminence, Because you went up to your father’s bed; Then you defiled it— he went up to my couch.

Unstable as water, you shall not excel, Because you went up to your father’s bed; Then you defiled it— He went up to my couch.

Boiling over as water, thou shalt not have the pre- eminence; Because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; Then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

Turbulent as water, you will no longer excel, because you got into your father’s bed and you defiled it— he got into my bed.

Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou[ it]: he went up to my couch.

You are destructive like water and will not excel, for you got on your father’s bed, then you defiled it– he got on my couch!

Boiling over like water, you shall not excel; because you went up to your father’s bed, then defiled it. He went up to my couch.

以色列居彼、聞流便烝其妾辟拉。

又曰、烝父繼室、辱及於父者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。

以色列之長子流便、因烝父妾、故以色列以長子之業予約瑟子孫、而譜系仍載流便為長子。

願流便恆存不沒、人數弗減。

流便支派、伽得支派、牲畜成群、見牙設基列二地、堪為游牧之所、乃就摩西、及祭司以利亞撒、暨諸會長前、曰、亞大錄、底本、牙設、寧喇、希實本、以利亞利、示班、尼破、庇穩、斯地也、即耶和華助以色列族所取者、堪為游牧之所、僕等有群畜、倘得沾恩、請以斯地錫我為業、毋庸我渡約但。摩西曰、汝同儕往戰、汝俱安坐於此乎。奚使以色列族喪膽、致耶和華所錫之地不能得濟。昔在迦鐵巴尼亞、我遣爾祖窺察斯土、至以實各谷、既見其地、則使以色列族喪膽、皆不欲往、詣耶和華所賜之地、今爾所行亦若是。

所視無非惡色、獲罪不已、厥必常貪、信道不篤者、為其所惑、如此之人、可以咒詛、

聞爾中淫亂、有烝其後母者、雖異邦、未之有也、

以色列眾子、至於埃及者、其畧如左、雅各長子流便。

祈時當信勿疑、疑者譬之海浪、風吹盪漾、欲希主恩、終不能得、猶豫不決者、行弗篤、

毋貪人妻室、宅第、田畝、僕婢、牛驢、與凡屬於人者。○

其書不止一函、皆言此理中有難明、學弗思、信勿篤者、故反其意、亦反諸經、自取敗亡、
