And they blessed Rebekah and said to her,“ May you, our sister, Become thousands of ten thousands, And may your descendants possess The gate of those who hate them.”

Next the flag of the camp of the sons of Ephraim, by their armies, set out, with Elishama the son of Ammihud over its army,and Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur over the tribal army of the sons of Manasseh;

May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, so that you may become a multitude of peoples.

“ On the west side shall be the flag of the camp of Ephraim by their armies; and the leader of the sons of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud,and his army, their numbered men: 40,500.Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh; and the leader of the sons of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur,and his army, their numbered men, 32,200.

These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land; but Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua.

On the seventh day it was Elishama the son of Ammihud, leader of the sons of Ephraim;

from the tribe of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi;

On the eighth day it was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, leader of the sons of Manasseh;
