以色列伸出右手来，按在以法莲的头上，以法莲乃是次子，又剪搭过左手来，按在玛拿西的头上，玛拿西原是长子。

以色列却伸出右手来，按在次子以法莲的头上，又交叉伸出左手来，按在长子玛拿西的头上。

But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.

約瑟給長子取名叫瑪拿西，因為他說：「上帝使我忘記一切的困苦和我父親家。」

有人帶著小孩子來見耶穌，請求耶穌為他們按手禱告，卻受到門徒的責備。

我現在已揀選利未人代替以色列人所有的長子，

耶和華對我主說：「你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵成為你的腳凳。」

耶穌雙手按在她身上，她的腰立刻直了，便頌讚上帝。

使徒把手按在他們身上，他們就領受了聖靈。西門看見使徒把手一按在人身上，就有聖靈賜下來，便拿錢給使徒，說：「請把這能力也給我吧，以便我把手按在誰身上，就使誰領受聖靈。」

對父親說：「父親，你弄錯了，這才是長子，你應該把右手按在他的頭上。」

到了黃昏，人們把患各種疾病的人帶到耶穌面前。耶穌把手按在病人身上，一一治好他們，

於是祂為他們按手禱告，然後才離開那裡。

「你們禱告時，不要像偽君子那樣。他們喜歡站在會堂裡和十字路口上公開禱告，故意讓人看見。我實在告訴你們，他們得到的賞賜不過是人的讚賞。

大家將這七個人帶到使徒面前。使徒把手按在他們身上，為他們禱告。

帶到耶和華面前，會眾要按手在他們身上。

約瑟在埃及生的兒子是瑪拿西和以法蓮，他們的母親是安城祭司波提非拉的女兒亞西納。

耶和華啊，你大能的右手顯出榮耀；耶和華啊，你的右手擊碎仇敵。

我告訴你，你是彼得，我要在這磐石上建立我的教會，陰間的勢力不能勝過它。

為人行按手禮，不要操之過急。不要沾染別人的罪，要潔身自好。

於是，他們禁食禱告並把手按在巴拿巴和掃羅身上，然後差遣他們出去。

嫩的兒子約書亞充滿了智慧之靈，因為摩西曾把手按在他身上。以色列人都聽從他，遵守耶和華對摩西的吩咐。

不要忽略你的恩賜，那是藉著預言在眾長老把手按在你身上時賜給你的。

耶和華高舉右手，耶和華的右手施展了大能！」
