Some time later Joseph was told,“ Your father is ill.” So he took his two sons Manasseh and Ephraim along with him.

此後，約伯又活了一百四十年，得見他的兒孫，直到四代。

約瑟在埃及地生了瑪拿西和以法蓮，就是安城的祭司波提非拉的女兒亞西納給約瑟生的。

願你看見你兒女的兒女！願平安歸於以色列！

荒年未到以前，安城的祭司波提非拉的女兒亞西納給約瑟生了兩個兒子。約瑟給長子起名叫瑪拿西，因為他說：「神使我忘了一切的困苦和我父的全家。」他給次子起名叫以法蓮，因為他說：「神使我在受苦的地方昌盛。」

約瑟得見以法蓮第三代的子孫。瑪拿西的孫子、瑪吉的兒子也養在約瑟的膝上。

她姊妹兩個就打發人去見耶穌，說：「主啊，你所愛的人病了。」
