He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Don’t be afraid to go down into Egypt, for there I will make of you a great nation.

曰、我乃天主、即爾父之天主、爾往伊及、勿懼、我必使爾後裔在彼成為大族、

“ I am God, the God of your father,” he said.“ Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

God said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

Then He said,“ I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

So He said,“ I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

God said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

And he said, I[ am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

You shall answer and say before Yahweh your God,“ My father was a Syrian ready to perish. He went down into Egypt, and lived there, few in number. There he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.

I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing.

God said to him,“ I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations will be from you, and kings will come out of your body.

that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your offspring greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gate of his enemies.

Behold, Yahweh stood above it, and said,“ I am Yahweh, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. I will give the land you lie on to you and to your offspring.Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.

since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

But now Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel, says:“ Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.

Israel lived in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen; and they got themselves possessions therein, and were fruitful, and multiplied exceedingly.

Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now Yahweh your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.

“ But as the time of the promise came close which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

The children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who didn’t know Joseph.He said to his people,“ Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we.Come, let’s deal wisely with them, lest they multiply, and it happen that when any war breaks out, they also join themselves to our enemies and fight against us, and escape out of the land.”

He said to Abram,“ Know for sure that your offspring will live as foreigners in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them. They will afflict them four hundred years.

saying,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. Behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’

Yahweh appeared to him, and said,“ Don’t go down into Egypt. Live in the land I will tell you about.Live in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you. For I will give to you, and to your offspring, all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.

Yahweh your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are today as the stars of the sky for multitude.

for I will give all the land which you see to you and to your offspring forever.I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can count the dust of the earth, then your offspring may also be counted.

After these things Yahweh’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan swore to them and to their men, saying,“ Don’t be afraid to serve the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you.
